The colour is amber-grown, the liquid almost clear. The two finger off-white head sinks quickly leaving some lacing.
The smell is smooth and malty. Caramel, toffee and ripe dried fruits. Some citric hops and a touch of strawberries.
The taste is dry with malty notes of crispbread, toffee and spicy rye bread. Some clean bitterness. Light to medium body. The aftertaste got growing clean bitterness, passing alcohol, dried flowers and dense notes of dark bread. The finish got some bread-like sweetness and a touch of bitter lemons.
The carbonation is mild, the many small bubbles long-lived. The liquid is semi-smooth.
A smooth and malty ale, somewhere between a English brown ale and an American amber.
