The appearance was a clear amber-gold with a one finger-ed off-white foamy head. Mild lacing ran here and there. The aroma takes in some tangerine, orange rind, and white bread. The flavor leans sweet with some melon and then the tangerine and bready notes coming back to lean sweet. Some bitter piney to bitter pithy citrus notes combine to blend into the aftertaste. Quick little bite of a finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionably sweet sort of sticky feel to it. Good carbonation to it. Overall, decent to pretty good AIPA, surprisingly different yet good.

From the 650 ml. bottle. Sampled on August 18, 2014.

The pour is a definite unfiltered cloudy medium amber with a lingering off-white head. Very milky to look at.

The aroma does bring out the floral character but there is a sort of juicy wild berry thing going on. But I find myself distracted by the buttered toasted biscuit feel. But that may just be the way my nose interprets the spiciness that is also hovering around in there.

Medium body.

The taste is about the same as the aroma with more on the spice and less emphasis on the berries I picked up. Decent but nothing extraordinary.
