Looks great, smells delicious, tastes above average. Deceptively floral smell gives way to a average taste with a peppery finish that was not what I wanted in a juicy IPA. Good but not what I expected based on the label.

Grapefruit and lemon up front... champagne bubbly on the tongue... hint of malt finish... better as it warms.

The best mix of juice and booze! Not too cloudy, crushable. 16oz can.

Appearance: Pours cloudy and honey colored with a one finger head; good retention and squiggly lacing
Smell: Tropical aromatics of mango and passionfruit
Taste: Juicy mango forward, with a hint of pineapple; through the middle, passionfruit adds a little bitterness but the finish is juicy and fruity with limited bitter flavors
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body; creamy with moderate carbonation
Overall: A good example of a NE IPA; nothing memorable but no complaints, either

Canned 4/23, consumed 5/24. Nothing I’ve had from matchless has blown me away, they’re all basic hazy IPAs and this one is super misleading. Why are breweries trying to overhype their hazy IPA names with names like “juice smoothie” when they’re nothing special? Sales gimmick. Fell for it again. No more matchless for me! Go get hazy little thing by Sierra Nevada and do a blind taste test with this beer. They’ll be identical. Thanks

Nice hazy light yellow straw color. Big 2-3 finger head. Frothy thick foam.
Smells of mango and grapefruit.
Taste some funk and bitterness up front. Sweetens up a bit and gets malty. Dries out quickly and some more hop bitterness comes through. There's some pine and cattiness mixed in with the other hop flavors.
Feels a bit thin for an IPA but decent mouth feel.
Overall a good beer. I've had some better mosaic IPA brews recently that had more mango flavor. Good beer though.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a IPA glass.
Look- Straw, hazy, visible sediment, white frothy head, average head retention, above average lacing.
Smell- Citrus, tropical, mango.
Taste- Citrus, tropical, flavor is good- but on the weak/watery side.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, smooth finish.

Poured from 16oz can into 20oz tulip glass. Canned on 1/23/18.
Look: Pours dark yellow, with hazy/murky appearance. 1/2" head formation, which quickly settled, but left a good amount of lacing. The lacing is prominent and is really pleasing to look at.
Smell: Upfront with citrus fruits, consisting of orange, pineapple, lemon, papaya, mango. Strawberry and banana hints are also present on the nose, with banana being very subtle. Very mild hop profile on the smell.
Taste: Follows the nose, with orange and pineapple mixed with mango, strawberry and banana. Really pleasant taste. Not much hop presence, but slightly on back end of palate.
Feel: Slightly less than hoped/expected, but has medium body to it, with slight weight on tongue. Acidity doesn't seem high and low carbonation. Wish it was a little thicker in feel.
Overall: This is a pretty darn good beer. It is light and really easy drinking. The fruit notes definitely start to sing as you drink it. Cheers!
