Notes:
Our India Pale Ale pours a light golden color. It has Marris Otter malt backbone, but allows the focus of this beer, the hops, to shine. Loads of Ahtanum, Centennial, and Chinook hops fill your mouth with that bitterness we love on the first drink, with more subtle berry, pine, and grapefruit flavors appearing as your palate adapts. This beer finishes clean and dry with a slight lingering bitterness.

2/10/23 Poured from a 16 oz can purchased from Morgantown WV Sam's Club.
Appearance is a cloudy light yellow approaching straw colored. Fairly heavy white head.
Aroma is slightly sweet malt, lemon and skunk.
Taste has elements of watermelon rind, bitter lemon and something sweet in there.
Very drying, chalky finish. Leaves tongue very dry.
Above average IPA, but nothing to search high and low for. Always pulling for West Virginia brewers, so go for it, if you have the chance.

Got from a trade with a guy in Southern Ohio.
Poured translucent amber with an almost bright white head that leaves lots of lacing.
The aroma was good, even with my nose. Piney and general hops, just nice.
The taste was good, not excellent, but good. I could certainly see myself drinking a few pints of this if I lived in the area. Piney and citrus and some new malts that were good, just unusual for me.
The feel was quite good, very quaffable and, for lack of a better term, simple. Good for the style.
Very glad to have tried this, it is worth trying if you get the chance.

16oz can, tulip, best by 11/16/20.
Lightly hazed lemon yellow with a substantial eggshell head.
Lemon, grapefruit pith, a small dose of pine. The nose is subdued, but pleasant.
Yellow grapefruit, a bit of wild berry, and piney finish. The Maris Otter is a nice touch, not over done, and the flavors are robust.
The body is medium-light, creamy, with soft bubbles.
This IPA is its own thing, kind of like West Virginia. Citrus and pine, Maris Otter, relatively dry, and creamy. It’s worth a go when you’re in the neighborhood.

Looks lightly hazed, caramel in color. Very little head, nice lacing. Smell is malty caramel, no hop presence. Taste mirrors the smell. A little too sweet. Smooth.
I'm not sure about the freshness, but I don't detect any hop loss. Nothing in here to wow me.

Swirling pour... Two fingers of light khaki froth... Good retention... A slightly murky and hazed copper color... A subdued nose of caramel and light noble type hops... Much more than meets the eye on the palate... Loads of sweetness and a stronger than expected hop presence... Medium bodied and smooth with a slight chalky finish... An easy drinking and quaffable IPA...

Best by 2/26/19 (drinking it about 1.5 months before end date. Really nice IPA in the glass. Unfiltered "hazy" look, pale yellow and an nice classic 2 finger head and great retention. Aroma is pretty subdued but has a sweet and malty aroma. Taste is a really well crafted IPA mix here. You got the sweetness, the light bitter and the malty grains all working in great symetry here. Has a nice soft mouthfeel. Overall this is a well made IPA and this brewery should be proud of this one.

Pours into an impy nonic a dull lighter golden with a full one finger bone white head that settles slowly.Slightly grainy and herbal with a shot of pine in the nose but it's on the cleaner side for the style.Dry with sharp watermelon and pine on the palate, not a juicy hop bomb more old school in it's dryer bitter flavors. Not bad,you don't to many IPA's right now with this kind of flavor profile.

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a hazy, dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of pine, some herbal notes. Taste is balanced, pine, caramel malts, herbal, light bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a a pretty good beer.

Pours clear gold in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is pine and grapefruit rind. Medium bodied and carbonation, bitter. Makes for a solid, above average American ipa. Keeps me interested in the brewery.

From a can of freshness into my gullet. Kind of pissy yellow with not much head,. Decent nose however,so what the hey. It's not quite hoppy enough for me, but a good try by the WV boys. I'd buy it again for a lark.
