On pouring, clearly has extraordinary effervescence, so an inch of head is no surprise. It dissipates quickly to leave little trace on the glass or drink.

Somewhat golden hued, hazy, with bubbles flowing off the bottom, the colour of the beer is reminiscent of a second rate golden ale, which is fortunately saved by the flavour.

Light, smooth and sweet up front, the hops bite and follow through behind. It's rather grown up for a lager, with complexity in the follow through for the connoisseur to match the clean bite at the front for the novice: fortunately, novices will drink this chilled and miss the value that comes from letting it get up towards cellar temperature before drinking.

All told, this is a nice example of a cream ale, not world beating, but very nicely judged to appeal to an audience with mixed beer sophistication!

Pours a hazy, maize color. One inch head of an off-white color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, adjunct, hint of hops, and a hint of citrus. Fits the style of a Cream Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of adjunct, pale malt, hint of sweet malt, and a hint of hop. Overall, decent cream, lacking in any vanilla characteristics (though not required), and sessionable.

M - lighter body, moderate carbonation, finishes more bitter than expected with earthy hops riding out the semi-dry finish
O - good straight forward cream ale here.

Taste: semi sweet, big corn notes, creamy mouth-feel, sweet nose. Gold, partly clear with a white some lace. Medium body, and a crisp smooth mellow drinking beer that would go with a picnic.

Pours a crisp but opaque golden color with a thin but persistent white head.

Smell has aromas of grain, touch of sweetness, almost like roasted sweet corn, and strong malts. Some prominent lager yeast aromas also noted. Very pleasant.

Taste has notes of corn, grain, white bread malts. Very simple and straightforward with some lager yeast notes. there is a bit of hop presence on the finish with an mild bitterness that adds some depth to the beer profile.

Very drinkable, with medium carbonation. Nice light feel on the mouth.

Overall a really outstanding example of Cream Ale and a tasty beer in its own right.

Balanced, smooth and light
Lighter body, with good carb
