Had this beer on cask a couple of days ago at the alehouse. Served in an imperial pint glass.
Appearance: cloudy coppery hue with lots of haze. head is a thick finger of tenacious ivory froth. Good stuff!
Smell: rich malt with a little caramel and some good floral and citrus hops. I like it.
Taste: smooth, sweet malt with good floral notes and a powerful but smooth bitterness at the end. Really quite tasty.
Mouthfeel: medium body with low carbonation but a rich and smooth texture nonetheless.
Overall: a very good and smooth IPA. I really could quaff one after another of these.

Dark rusty orangey brown with a nice head of light tan foam. Nice lacing and head retention are there as well on this freshly poured pint of nectar. Aromas are all fresh piney citrusy hops, with some nice maltiness in the background as well. This is a kick ass IPA. The hopping is complex and great citrus fruit flavors, and other strange spicy notes come into play. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nice, drinkability is killer as always. Perhaps the best of the 3 IPA's made here...

Appearance This one poured a nice, hazy orange with a big head that left some good lacing on the inside of my Walking Man pint glass.
Smell The soft pine is a wonderful backdrop to the sharp, orangey rind aroma that defines this IPA nose. I can also pick up some delicate floral notes along with the smallest hint of a sugary malt base.
Taste The refined white and brown sugars do a good job of adding to the noticeable malt base, and they are needed here. The hops half of this IPA is big and complex. I can pick up the same soft pine that I did from the nose. It is very mellow and has a bit of a peppery compliment to it.
The strong citrus/tangerine hops lead the way here, though. They are intermixed with an interesting butter flavor that makes this one both creamy smooth and sharp and spicy.
Mouthfeel Medium-bodied and quite entertaining. As I said, this is smooth and buttery but also has a nice hop profile that dries well at the end.
Drinkability This is an easy drinker. Easy, I guess, if you are used to drinking big, hoppy American IPAs.
