Had a pint of this on tap at the alehouse.

Appearance: a hazy golden hue; surprisingly deep for a pale wheat ale.

Smell: somewhat floral, soapy wheat aroma. Not as bland as your standard American wheat ale but not as complex as a German weissbier. It's also a bit mild in intensity.

Taste: the floral/perfumey/soapy flavor does come through, but here it is nicely complex. There's a hint of tartness and some mild earthy, funky and fruity hops. Not very traditional, but quite interesting.

Mouthfeel: medium light body with some stickiness. Carbonation is OK, but nothing to write home about.

Overall: it is kind of hard to say how I feel about this brew. It is interesting, which I like, but not very to-style either as an American wheat beer or a German wheat. I'd definitely have it again, but I wouldn't classify it as a "great" beer.

Served in straight pint glass. Poured a cloudy, hazy, yellow with a thin cap of soapy white head. The aroma was a very good blend of wheat graininess and floral hops, with some hop citrus in the background. The taste was also very nice, crisp, focused and sharp flavors that weren't harsh or bitter.

The body was full, smooth and easy. Drinkability was excellent, a great beer for a long summers afternoon. Overall, another top notch beer from the guys on "The Ave.", worth seeking out.
