Draft at the brewpub in Seattle.
Pours a slightly cloudy, dark golden straw color with lighter golden edges and a 1.5 finger white head that slowly settles into a thick lasting cap. Streaks and spots of lace left behind.
Surprisingly hop forward nose for a pale wih lots of grassy pine along with light fruit, bready yeast and pale malt. Floral and slightly earthy with grass and faint soil countered by a very faint fruit presence and some biscuit malt.
Medium bodied with a lots of floral hops up front that linger over the sweeter notes into slightly dry finish. Well balanced with hints of resinous, grassy hops that give off a decent amount of dry bitterness that don't overpower. Light fruit and pale malts give sweetness for balance. Hints of lemon peel, grapefruit, bread, biscuit and graham cracker. Well balanced, tasty session beer.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: hazy orange hue with a thin head of ivory foam. Not bad.
Smell: mild aroma of citrusy hops. Decent but not particularly special.
Taste: nice blend of fruity, citrusy hops with a smooth malt component. Balanced and enjoyable!
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a light carbonation. Not super creamy but there is a decent feel despite this.
Overall: I really like the flavor of this beer -- it makes up for some of the beer's weaker areas.
