look: 3.5 | smell: 3 | taste: 2.5 | feel: 2.5 | overall: 3
Mostly clear deep amber colour with a very light tan head. Fair lacing and retention. Fruity, malty aroma. Flavour starts sweet, malty, and grainy. Fruity esters and light citrus show up towards the end. Harsh bitterness creeps in at the finish, but mostly it's pretty sweet. Astringency shows up at the end. Otherwise it has a decent texture, medium body, and low carbonation. Not bad, but the harsh hop bitterness really detracts from the drinkability and the residual sweetness is a little too high.
