Another beer I've had, but not reviewed.
This beer pours a nice copper color. There's a nice 1 finger, slightly off white head. The head clings to the glass as it dissipates to create some nice lacing on the glass.
The nose is strong. I get a lot of aromas here. I get a "gin" aroma, so I'd wager some juniper berries. I also get some caramel, and a bit of malt.
Taste - Lots of pepper on the flavor throughout. It clings and lingers (causing me to sneeze). I also get a hint of gin - (juniper) in the mix. I also get a hint of caramel.
I'm going a bit lower than it should deserve, because this full can is causing me to sneeze. I love black pepper, and use it like crazy, but something about this beer is causing me issues, and I didn't get them from a 2 oz pour.
I like this beer a lot, though, as listed in the feel, it's causing me issues that I didn't have from a smaller pour.

16oz undated can poured into a tulip pint glass at fridge temp 6% ABV. The beer pours hazy, reddish brown in color with khaki head. The head recedes to a pencil thin ring and a few bubbles. No lacing. The aroma is bready malt, juniper and caraway. The taste is semisweet rye bread punctuated with pepper spice, caraway and juniper. Mildly bitter. The mouthfeel is thin to medium bodied with average carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, interesting and unique. Super happy to tick this style courtesy of @victory_sabre73.

Pours a beautiful iced tea brown, nearly clear, with a light tan head. The can references clove and juniper berry, and both are present on the nose, and there’s a little caramel as well.
Per the style guide here on BA, gruits have no hops, and that is very apparent on the taste - there’s the caramel flavor, but it’s very subtle. The star of this show is the juniper berry/clove combo pack, which is delicious.
This would be a perfect beer to enjoy around a fire on a cool fall evening.

Oliphant Groot, a Gruit style beer, 6.2% ABV. Pours cloudy brown, with a one finger white head. Nose is caramel sweetness and spices. Taste follows with sweetness and bitterness in equal measure. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding.

Dark amber color with a finger of head that quickly dissipated. No lacing is left down the glass but that is understandable since there are no hops in this beer. Herbal aroma with sweet caramel malt. The flavor is very herbal and floral with what I assume to be heather, anise, and maybe horehound. Tastes similar to fernet but this is sweet, not bitter. Tasty but not for everyone. The body feels a bit watery but has a little bit of carbonation.

Oliphant Groot Gruit-style Ale. Oliphant Brewing, Somerset, Wisconsin. 6% ABV.
As a card-carrying hophead, this is a style of beer that I really shouldn't like.
It's clear and caramel-colored, with a lasting, cream-toned head.
Herbal aromatics, a little floral, mostly sweet, but restrained. Caramel malt lends some notes here, too.
On the palate, it's more sweet malty goodness. No hops to be had, some kind of herbs are keeping it balanced. Not entirely sure which ones(s). One thing I know for sure is that's smooth and tasty.
I still really miss the hops, though. Just part of who I am.

This is by far the only herbed beer that I have liked, for once the herbs take a little bit of a back seat, but are there in the nose and flavor, just not over powering like a lot of herbed beers.
