This NE IPA has an opaque, hazy straw coloring. Huge grapefruit and lime citrus characters carry through and finish accompanied by stone fruit and subtle mint. Wheat and oats provide a soft mouthfeel which helps to round out the bitterness.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/11/2017. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, mint, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, mint, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, mint, pepper, pine, wheat, white bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and minimal lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 7.07%. Overall this is a very nice NEIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink; despite the fairly aggressively bitter/drying finish. Great mix of dank, vibrant, and earthy hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. Simcoe, Amarillo, Comet, Citra, Calypso hops; plus Conan yeast. Very unique hop profile. A very enjoyable offering, and nice style example.

Got this beer from my Dad for Christmas 2017. The fruity smell and effervescence was one of the best I've ever experienced. The taste and aftertaste just didn't match the smell at any level. Overall only slightly above average.

Pours a bland cloudy yellow. Oh boy...is this going to be my first letdown from Platform? Smells of hops. Maybe some bitter fruit notes, but definitely hops, and a lot of them. Taste is citrus rind, pine, and herbal. Feel is smooth and only slightly dry. Bitter aftertaste. Not their best, but still very good and not a letdown at all.

I got a six pack of this from the local Meijer. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had nice citrus peel. The taste is nicely balanced for an IPA with pine presence mixed with orange peel. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Hazy gold-amber with a thick, off-white foam.
Smell is spicy and dank with lemon, grapefruit and pine.
Taste is cannabic pine with orange and grapefruit via a crisp froth but dry finish.
