My sister and brother-in-law brought me a few of these during a recent visit to SA from Columbus. Hooray for interstate commerce.

Pours a cloudy opaque yellow color with a good two-finger head and decent lace. An awesome looking beer and incredibly fitting for its name. The nose is bold and fruity with lots of citrus and tropical fruits. I love the aroma of Simcoe hops which are present here as well. The taste is super juicy, with great citrus and pine playing off each other seamlessly. Mouthfeel is crisp but lush and smooth. Hard to explain, but that's what it's like.

Just a really great beer here. I'd love to try more stuff from Platform. Cheers.

Very nice on the malt side, but a little bitter than some of the world class NEIPAs on the hops side. That said, I'm still really impressed with this beer. Great color and body for a NEIPA... they nailed it.

Got a 6pck of this from my local Meijer. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had tropical fruit peel. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with citrus flare. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.

A thanks to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz can. Has a hazy orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of oranges, peaches. Taste is the same, juicy, more bitter than I expected. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is an enjoyable beer.

American IPA brewed with Simcoe, HBC 438, and Michigan Chinook hops. Poured from a can into a Sweetwater tulip. Produces a mammoth head (didn't think I poured it that rough either) of long-lasting foam sitting comfortably atop a hazy light orange liquid. Very juicy nose on this one. I get ripe oranges, peaches, and pineapple.

Medium body with a delicate feel. The flavor does not follow the nose. Light, dry cracker-like flavors up front, then sharp bitter flavors of (very) under-ripe fruit. Lemon, grapefruit rind, and soap. Too pithy to be very enjoyable. Has a nice hop flavor, but to me it tastes a bit unbalanced and over-extracted. Better than Speed Merchant, but still not worth seeking out. I like to support Ohio beers, so I'm not giving up on these folks yet.

This is part of their "Small Batch IPA Series". Canned on 2/22/18. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a very cloudy and hazy burnt yellow with an eggshell white head that falls leaving nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of tropical fruits along with some malts. The flavors follow the nose. Lots of tropical fruit juice. Pineapple leads the way. Slightly sweet with a moderate bitterness to it. Malts do their thing. Finishes juicy. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a pretty solid "New England IPA". It has a nice fruit juice vibe going on. It might not be "mind blowing", but it's well done and enjoyable. It's fun to drink. I like it.

Darkish, cloudy yellow on the pour, and enough pineapple, citrus and pine in the nose to clear your sinuses and delight your palate. Malt is present but not overshadowed at all, though the alcohol is cleverly hidden--which makes it dangerous. It's only 6.8% which qualifies it as sessionable with The PubScout, but without eating, that could be problematic. Juicy as hell with a hint of bitterness in the finish that makes you call for another. Massive head (in the proper glass, of course) which refuses to die, and it leaves a nice lacing. Is it world class? like my underwear--depends--on your definition. But if you're a NEIPA fan, this Cleveland brew will not disappoint. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
