Thanks to GRG1313 for sharing this one at the LA Beer Talk bottle share.
Batch No. 001.
Pours a hazy orange-red with a foamy beige head that fades to nothing. No lacing on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with grain, fruit, earth, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour grain, strawberry, strawberry jam, and acidic flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid but odd strawberry aspects since the fruit used in this one is blackberries.
Serving type: bottle.

Pours a pinkish-purple-light orange like mixture of colors. Small hint of an off white head on the top. Aroma is very tart fruit forward. Clean, lactic sour.
Taste is also good, clean sour berries. I like that this doesn't have the usual smells like feet precursor that so many blackberry wild ales tend to have. This had a much lighter fruit berry edge to it (raspberry, strawberry) it seemed than just blackberries. Even cherry in there. Thought the carbonation was just right, so many of the wild ales lately are overcarbonated, this was just right to let the tartness and fruitiness linger just for a bit. Otherwise, the base is pretty no frills sour blonde ale I would suspect.
Would bang again, good artwork, inspiration etc. . .

A: Aroma is a mix of ripe blackberries, a bit of grains ad oak and lots of funk. The accompanying funk smells slightly off.
A: Deep purple color with some garnet highlights, coupled with a thin amount of head.
T: Bright blackberry flavor, slightly acidic but not overpoweringly sour. The jammy blackberry flavor gives way to a slightly odd funk flavor.
M: light bodied with light carbonation,
O: Solid, blackberry presence in the aroma and flavor, but there’s a nominally odd funk accompanying aroma and flavor that keeps the beer from being phenomenal.

On tap at Toolbox. Pour is a vibrant purple red. Thin carbonation. Smell is of funk and blackberry jam. It gets the mouth watering. Taste is very bright. It pricks the tongue. Not overpoweringly sour. Very drinkable. A buddy of mine who doesn't like sours really liked this beer. My only critique is I wish it had a bit more carbonation. Otherwise, a fantastic beer.
