This brew is a pinkish, reddish liquid. No head, and a tart aroma, with a lot of fruit (berries) underneath. Light and spritzy flavor....lots of cranberry and a little tartness. This is a fun and flavorful beer.

Poured from a bottle into a Dogfish tulip

L: Cloudy dark raspberry colored pour. 1.5 fingers of foamy pink head. Reasonable lacing.

S: Raspberry.. dark fruits and a bit of tart funkiness.

T/F: Lots of tartness... mixed with some fruity sweetness. The raspberry flavor comes over nicely. The cranberry is a present but more subtle. A bit acidic... some lemon but very much in the background. Well carbonated. Finish is sticky... sweet and sour.

O: A tasty and fruit forward Berliner Weiss. Very drinkable... and tart without being an all-out pucker. First beer I've had from Toolbox, and hopefully not the last.

500ml bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sticky rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of tart berry fruit with lemon and toasted caramel. Nice tart flavor with lots of different berries and cracked wheat.

Thanks to eyebereej for sending this one! Reviewed from notes. Poured from a 16.9 oz. bottle into a Cigar City Brewing goblet.

A: Pours a hazy orangish pink, forming a thin white head that fades quickly. A good bit of small bubbles run up the sides of the glass. Almost seems a glowing pink under the light.

S: Mild funk, lactic acid, a touch of feet. A generic fruitiness - maybe some cranberry and lemony citric tartness. There isn't a huge aroma, at least when it's cold.

T: Lactic tart, and a mild Lacto funk that doesn't even rise to the level on the nose. Very pale malt body and a light berry fruitiness. Lemony citric acid. A light dry cranberry near the swallow really dries everything out with lingering tartness.

M: A light body that borders on watery even for style. Carbonation sensation is low for style, but no alcohol flavors at all.

O: Not as good as I'd hoped. The fruit flavors aren't big, the funk is lacking, and it isn’t overly tart. It comes off as kind of an uninspired, middle of the road offering. Easy enough to drink, and I wouldn’t turn my nose up at it. But wouldn't go out of my way for another pour.

Nice pink foamy 1 finger head fades at a med pace decent lacing, ruby red pink grapefruit color, super hazy murky.

Nose mild berry fruit, some pureed cranberry and a little raspberry, weird minerality, and yeasty note, little raw bread dough, plenty of wheat and a gristy crackery thing, little salty.

Taste brings more mild tart fruit, little raspberry especially seed, plenty of tart cranberry, nice sourness from cranberry and acetic acid funk, tannic berry seed, little phenol note and some minerality. Finish little flemmy tart acidic, more cranberry tartness and raspberry seed.
Mouth is thin and watery, decent carb at best, flemmy tart.

Overall not too bad, some weird characters but not too bad.

On tap at Bishop's Arms in Malmö.

Pours a deep red color, little head, but great looking nonetheless.

The smell is very big for a Berliner, a big dollop of sour raspberries. Very nice.

Taste has just the right level of acidity, plenty of raspberries, and a hint of cranberry. Finishes with a youghurt note. Gets a little bit samey and unbalanced towards the end.

Light bodied and plenty of carbonation. Could use a bit more bulk, to avoid becoming a bit one dimensional.

Overall, a really tasty beer, refreshing with great raspberry taste.

Received as an extra, shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice hazy chalky pink hue with a one finger head that fades to leave nice blanket.

S - Aromas of dusty cranberries, raspberries, little chalky. Big wheat, creamy, light tartness.

T - Taste is similar to the nose, big tart cranberry and a fair amount of seedy raspberry. Nice creamy wheat, good tartness.

M - Mouthfeel is very thin and watery.

O - Overall this was a rather average tart beer. The mouthfeel was rather thin and that really took away from the taste. Unfortunate.

500 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/10/2016. Pours hazy pink/reddish orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big tart/sour raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, lemon, green apple, red grape, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, berries, and pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tart/sour raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, lemon, green apple, red grape, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness and tannic berry notes on the finish; with lingering notes of sour raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, lemon, green apple, red grape, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, berries, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/sourness balance, and zero astringent/puckering flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from sour/tart/tannic notes as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately acidic/tannic, and creamy/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Berliner weisse! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/acidic yeast, berries, and pale malt flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and easy to drink with the balanced acidity. A very enjoyable offering.
