Shared bomber bottle.
Clear dark red brown body with a bubbly head.
Very dry medium body. Medium carbonation.
Moderate dark cherry flavor.
Not sweet but lightly bitter and tart.

Ruddy with a fleeting, fizzy head.
Smells (as advertised) of cherries and red wine.
Nice balance between the tart and sour. Oaky notes with the well-masked alcohol showing up at the end.
A bit thin for the style but too reminiscent of wine.
Overall nicely crafted. A departure from what may be typically thought of when thinking of American Strong Ales.
