Yet, another decent RINO brewery-taproom, Mockery is literally across the street from Great Divide Barrel Bar (See Review). It offers a garishly decorated space with a small bar area and the ubiquitous taproom furniture. There is a huge patio outside complete with some neat murals. A bit hipsterish, but a worthwhile stop in a Must-see part of town.

Mockery Brewery is the best in Denver! We held a private event here a few weeks ago and the owners Eric and Zach were amazing to work with. Their story is so cool and they have an amazing line up of rotating taps. We came to Mockery back in January and were blown away by their unique and incredible tasting beers. From their Hops in Stereo IPA to the Palisade Peach Sour and everything in between there is a great beer for any beer drinker. The outdoor space is amazing and provides the perfect vibe for a few beers in beautiful Colorado!

Walked here from Crooked Stave with my wife and kids, right at their opening time. They're a neat little brewery, they seem to display a good deal of attitude. The place smelled fresh and clean (server told me they had just zested a shit-ton of lemons for a beer). Pretty big selection of beers, but they seem to have a predilection toward what I would call gimmick beers. All their beers were well made, and in some cases surprisingly good (the boysenberry wheatwine was quite tasty, despite my low expectations). Server was friendly and knowledgeable. If it was a local place, I'd go in from time to time.

Always an interesting selection here as they dream up some wild beers. The beers generally taste pretty damn good but I do notice they often lack in carbonation.
The interior is somewhat tight but there's a big outdoor area. The art in the bathrooms is way cool so be sure to check that. Flights of four are available and they now sell some of their own stuff in bottles on location.
Check this out if in the RiNo area and make this spot part of a crawl.

Awesome place. Stopped in here on a recommendation from staff at great divide.....good choice. Amazing selection. Happened to come in on a night the brewmaster was working the taproom and it wasn't extremely busy. Brewmaster spent tons of time talking about beers and style, even poured an unreleased brew from a tank in the back. Everything we tasted was good to great. Will def go back on our next trip to Denver. This was probably our favorite brewery for overall beers and quality.

Great all summer long with large patio. Will see how the smaller taproom does with colder weather...Beer is always fantastic!

Atmosphere - smallish inside, but big patio and a cool little game room in what appears to be a converted garage. Seems to be the family friendly tap room in the neighborhood.
Quality - only tried 3, with oak Southern Hemisphere being the best, by far! Didn't try the food truck outside, but it sure smelt good!
Service - sat inside and ordered straight from the bar, so other than a friendly bar tender, I can't speak on this too much.
Selection - I believe they had 10-12 on tap; good variety and plenty that I would have liked to try, so I'll return!
Overall - definitely a lower scale place considering it is down the street from Crooked Stave and the new Great Divide Barrel Bar, but if you are planning on being in that neighborhood, it is certainly worth stopping by!
Update - Have returned and have had about 10 other offerings, the majority of which were outstanding or at least very, very good! I’m a fan of what this crew is doing!

Definitely one of the nicest new brewery tap rooms in Denver - no corners cut here. Super comfortable and fun space, with great, friendly service. The location will be tops when Great Divide opens across the street - it will be interesting to see if it's a boon to biz or a bust...
Beers are good, but nothing spectacular. Room to improve on quality. I'll certainly go back to check it out and try the beers again.

V-Unlike many of the new breweries around town, I like the "industrial chic" decor in Mockery. Someone put some thought into this one. The tasting area is not huge, just a dozen or so bar seats and room for maybe 20 people at the tables inside. However...there is a huge outdoor space and a garage that serves as a game room, which will be great come summertime. The place was full, but not busy when I visited on a late Saturday afternoon. The crowd was young-ish, and there were a few dogs hanging out, but I thought the mix of people was good. Good music playing too. Nice.
Q-I tried a couple Mockery beers (both dark) and both were good, but not great. That being said, the beers felt well-made, i.e., nice mouthfeel/no off flavors, even if the flavors were not yet completely dialed in.
Ser-My bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. He offered me help promptly and could talk about the beers he was slinging. I'm not sure if I should deduct points for serving a porter in a shaker pint glass or if that is just snobbery...but still, I dislike the shaker pint.
Sel-Mockery had 11 beers on offer (all on tap and all Mockery beers; no guests). That is a solid selection for a newish brewery. The beers had most of the style bases covered too with sessionable, lower ABV beers like a red IPA through bigger, darker offerings like stouts and porters.
O-I really dig this space and I think that the beers show potential. As long as the beer-pong-playing brochachos stay in the game room and away from me, I could see myself visiting here again. A lot.

yup, another little brewery in tap room on this side of town. getting crowded over there, and from the looks of it its not all that different. clean and simplistic interior design, some wood exposed, vibrantly colored walls, and a cool copper display behind the taps with the fermenters and brew house right there in the room. cool to have such a big outside seating area though, this place is going to pop off when the weather is nice. quite a few beers on, maybe ten, and all were pretty good. a salted scottish ale and an oaked southern hemisphere ale were the two winners for me, definitely the most unique, but none of the beer was bad, just a little samey. folks were nice, a little stunned it seemed, but hey its only been a week. i think they are way ahead of the new brewery game in terms of quality, and i look forward to watching them evolve. they seem to have a relatively high degree of competence, even if the beer isnt all amazing yet, it probably will be eventually. ill check back on them soon.
edit: their beer continues to be great and underrated, so diverse and clever most of the time. maybe not my favorite brewery to hang out at, but these guys have cemented themselves as one of the better brewers in town here...
