This is the second self pour place I’ve been to. A great idea but this one is clearly inferior to the one in San Diego. They have 40 taps here but several are not devoted to beer and 5 taps were off line mid-evening on a weeknight. Prices are also high albeit acceptable for those who want to try a number of different beers. I was pleased with the food and food prices. OK service.

Never been to a place with this much selection that you get try by the ounce.
They have 46 taps and it's a giant tasting wall of self serve craft beer. I love getting flights of beer and this place takes it to the next level. They have 6 designated Sour lines and many other beers I normally can only find in a bottle. I like not having to wait for a beer, but the staff was very helpful and showed me around. Check out their game room downstairs with pool, shuffleboard , darts, Foosball, etc. This is a must visit in Asheville.

After hearing about this, I wasn't sure I was going to like it. But it was really fun. The other reviews have hit on the main points, pour your own beverages, as much or as little as you want, can try alot of different beers for a reasonable price, food available from Asheville Sandwich Co a couple doors down (they bring it right to you), pretty nice selection of beers. A couple tvs, some games, a pretty nice setup. The staff help you get started by demonstrating how everything works. We were there early on a Sat afternoon when it first opened, we're there for a few hours and it was definitely starting to get crowded and everyone seemed to be having a blast. It's like a beer fest experience within a bar. Recommended.

Really cool concept. I loved being able to sample many different styles. I was impressed with the selection and the knowledge from the owner. The owner was very helpful as well. I sampled 15-20 different beers with usually 1-2 ounce pours of each. In the end my tap was also very reasonable. Asheville is by far the cheapest place to drink craft beer that I have found.

A fun new way to try a broad selection of local, national and imported beers, ales, ciders and even a few wines as well. The selection is very good, including some I've not been able to find on tap in Asheville.

The novelty is that you get to pull the tap yourself and sample as little or as much of each selection... no waiting for a busy bartender to get back to you, or to get annoyed with you when you want to keep tasting this, that and the other! When you find what you really like, pour yourself a full glass and enjoy. Descriptions on the screen at each tap teach you a bit about the beer, also, the knowledgeable staff is always around to help you know more if you want.

The environment is open and friendly with a few large TVs usually tuned to a sporting event, out back is a deck and patio area if you want to hang out outside with friends and fellow beer lovers. The lower level offers vintage shuffleboard and darts and some couches to relax on, feeling like you are a friends house... but a friend with a beer and wine fest happening every day!

Food is easily available from the Asheville Sandwich Shop next door as well as from other local shops and restaurants.

In West Asheville on Haywood Road in one of the coolest areas of Asheville

Definitely check this place out, I guarantee you have not seen anything like this.
