On tap at the brewery.
Medium amber with a modest head that soon reduces to a durable top coat. Clear.

Aroma: mild and hoppy with hints of sweetness
Flavor: amply hoppy with pine, herbal, earthy, grapefruit and citrus tones. Definitely more hops than the aroma suggests. Clean.

Exceptionally clean, bright hop forward ale. Very refreshing and pairs great with prime rib and horseradish.

Clear and golden, the beer is golden to copper and generally has a nice rocky pillow
of foam.

The aroma is hop forward, fresh out of the can some more resinous characters are present, but an overall fresh fruit salad aroma dominates. The slightly fruity yeast character harmonizes particularly well with the balanced hop and malt aromas.

The palate is first struck by a fruity sweetness followed immediately by a burst of hop bitterness and some spicy white pepper flavors, followed by a quick, dry and grapefruit-rind bitter finish.

this was a good pale ale. Had it on draft in "The Source", First Magnitude's tasting room. It was definitely hoppy toward the finish. Smell was subdued, malty with some lemon backdrop. There was a little more malt sweetness than I expected. I'd drink one of these any time it was handed my way... but it wasn't a "knock your socks off" experience. (They've only even been open about two weeks though...) I'll be back.

Look- Dark golden to amber with a small head. Much darker than expected for a pale ale.
Smell- not much here mild hops and sweet malt. Maybe a touch of citrus
Taste- Sweet malt with a hop aftertaste. Leaves the palate dry.
Feel- Lighter than expected. Light-medium bodied
Overall- Ok. Almost more of a red ale than a pale. Decent. Worth a shot if you are at the brewery.
