Thanks, Sam!

Got this on Sam and Laura’s visit out here. Would be my third straight sour of the night, probably the max for me. Still a raspberry beer, so was looking forward to it. Beer was described online as, “Our tart American fruited Berliner Weisse that combines raspberry with hints of passion fruit, creating a crisp and approachable Kettle sour.”

Poured a golden, mostly clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy-to-fizzy off-white head. Could see a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Good, spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 3.75)

Smelled raspberry, guava, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit and floral. Really good on the nose. Pretty much the same from the can. (Smell - 4.75)

Taste followed the nose, but not quite as good. Got raspberry, guava, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, grapefruit, green grape and floral. (Taste - 4.25)

Light body. Oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Tart finish. (Feel - 4.25)

Wow. This beer was just tremendous. And out of nowhere. (Overall - 4.25)
