Cellared bottle. Dark passionate purple pour with a white ring and beautiful webbing. Aromas of jammy raspberry with lush fruitiness and contrasting seeds meet lambic spon and barnyard funk, oak, flowers and a touch of supporting currant. Incredible and potent nose! Taste follows suit, sourness is large here though, cutting funk is uplifting, get hints of herbal leaves and black pepper near the finish. Feel is on the more heavily fruited side of the lambic style spectrum, plenty sour and funky, oak and fruit contribute beautifully too. Each sip rewards the drinker with shifting textures, age did well to cut the edge a bit. An amazing beer

Vintage 2017. Full, rich jammy nose with almond notes. Incredibly well-balanced with right amount of acidity and raspberries. Unlike most American spontaneously fermented beers, this is balanced and not acid-forward. I'd stack this up against Belgian equivalents.

750ml bottle poured into a tulip
Pours a deep amber/purple color with a one-finger creamy pink head that has good retention. Smells of tart acidic vinegar, fresh squeezed raspberries, raspberry jam, cracked pepper, wet oak and floral yeast. Tastes of fresh raspberry puree, fruity vinegar, lemon juice, peppery yeast, oaky tannins, just a hint of funk at the finish. Medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a slightly foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish. Pure raspberry jam, delicious
