750ml bottle, stemmed glass. Cloudy golden yellow body, one finger white head, good retention, bits and rings of lacing. Smell is funky wet lemon, damp oak, a bit of honeyed sweetness, floral, sweet but quite acidic. Flavour follows, sweet and sour at the same time. Has a oaky wetness to it, perhaps the honey. I'm not sure how to pin this flavour down- it has a fair bit of dry tartness to it, fairly floral and sweet. Medium bodied, big dry acidity yet sweet and floral. It's an odd sour beer which has an interesting flavour component from the honey. It just doesn't work as well as it should.

Also had this one at Funk Factory last week. Pours a yellow color with slight haze, good head about 1/2" deep so this beer looks the part. Aroma was nice and mild, light amounts of oak. Honey isn't noticeable in the nose but it does seem to contribute a light drying effect here, later to be amplified in the mouth feel. Light Wisconsin earthy and farm notes in the nose as well. Too bad this place isn't more outside of town in the pasture areas. It has that light feel, but I want MOAR!!!

Taste is a fine affair, has all those light hay, apple and table session saison feels. Not an amplified wild ale masquerading as a saison, they did good. I could bang a lot of this if given the chance and the price point was nicer. But hey, them foeders ain't just bein' given away for free. I gets it. But man, when I think Wisconsin spring and summer, this is a beer to fit the bill. Good oak feels and dryness to it. Great ease to drink.

Mildly foggy pale yellow with a fuzzy white head quickly settling to barely anything.

Wow this has an excellent funk to it. Funky and skunky with a light airy froth, brighter notes of grapefruit and lemon break up any monotony up front, which then further develops in the middle to an oaky sourness with green apple and herbal chives.

Wonderful complexity.
