Had on tap. Crazy dark brown pour with a full khaki head. This is a hoppy brown ale, and west coast hops at that. Detected in the nose but they are overshadowed by brown malts, cocoa, nuts, tobacco and vanilla. Taste however they are so powerful on the finish, enhancing the tobacco, brown malts, cocoa, and nuts lead before this dragging down. Feel is not as impacted as taste, weirdly frothy for a brown but not bad. Just not what I want from a brown ale personally, but I can recognize that this might be someone else's jam

Pours a chestnut colored brown. Opaque due to the dark color, but mostly clear when held up to light. Thick few finger velvety khaki colored head forms on the beer and then mostly dissipates.

Aroma has notes of cocoa, malts, light nutty notes, tobacco, and light earthy hops.

Taste has notes of nutty malts, some light cocoa, and some tobacco and weed on the backend.

Feel is thin, light, easy drinking. Drier on the finish. Moderate carbonation.

Overall a solid brown ale.

The pour is dark brown. The taste is roasted malts, caramel, with a slight nutty quality to it. I also agree with the smokey taste which was previously mentioned by another fellow beer reviewer. Cheers! B

Brown ale named after the street the brewery is on in Wynwood. Tastes of coffee and whole nuts with a good mix of holiness melted in. Easy drinking for a brown ale.

Hands down one of the best brown ales I have tasted. Sweet malts feature without being too sweet, which allows some earthy hops to pop through on the finish. Fuller bodied for a brown ale, which I enjoy. Excellent brew

Appearance: brown in color with a 1/2" head that lasts a while. Some lace develops.

Smell: light bread and nut aroma is pleasant.

Taste: nice malt profile with some bread, dark chocolate, nuts, mild coffee tones, and a mild bitterness.

Mouhtfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp to start, smoother towards the finish. Long lasting aftertaste.

Overall: a really good flavor profile keeps this ale interesting from start to finish. Very satisfying.
