J Wakefield comes through with this bad boy. What a delicious and pleasing beer. A great brown ale with a smoky taste and smell. This is one of those beers that could easily be drank with a nice steak. Grab one of these for sure

The pour is dark brown. The taste is roasted malts, caramel, with a slight nutty quality to it. I also agree with the smokey taste which was previously mentioned by another fellow beer reviewer. Cheers! B

Brown ale named after the street the brewery is on in Wynwood. Tastes of coffee and whole nuts with a good mix of holiness melted in. Easy drinking for a brown ale.

Hands down one of the best brown ales I have tasted. Sweet malts feature without being too sweet, which allows some earthy hops to pop through on the finish. Fuller bodied for a brown ale, which I enjoy. Excellent brew

Appearance: brown in color with a 1/2" head that lasts a while. Some lace develops.

Smell: light bread and nut aroma is pleasant.

Taste: nice malt profile with some bread, dark chocolate, nuts, mild coffee tones, and a mild bitterness.

Mouhtfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp to start, smoother towards the finish. Long lasting aftertaste.

Overall: a really good flavor profile keeps this ale interesting from start to finish. Very satisfying.

At the brewery.
Brown color with a thick head with decent retention.
Nutty predominant aroma.
Predominant flavor with notes of nuts, some licorice and American yeast. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Light to medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 6.8% is completely absent.
Decent nutty American to English Brown Ale.

Had on tap at Smiths Billiards in Springfield, MA. The beer poured with a black appearance with a light brown, medium sized thick head. Aromas include a burnt, nutty, light cocoa flavor. The taste follows the nose nicely for a very enjoyable, if conventional brown ale. The carbonation worked well to bring out a roasty flavorfulness to the beer wrapped around medium carbonation. Overall, I enjoyed the appearance and mouthfeel the most with this beer.

Poured a bit flat, and quite dark for a brown. Earthy smells - smokey/ash. some dates or raisins. Pleasant taste - some of the smokiness comes thru in the flavors. just sweet enough, caramel maltiness. A great deal of nutiness. lingering hops. A bit light especailly given the light carbonation, but pleasant and refreshing.

A simple easy drinking brown, It's welcomed that it's not trying to be too much.

This is not a brown ale, should be classified as a a porter, then I'd rate it much better..

Normally don't review on flights but this needs explaining.
The smell & taste scores are based on a heavy coffee forward presence. In fact, the nose only gets coffee and a hint of heavily toasted malt.
The taste similar, coffee first and a hunt of burnt toast.

This is a very original brown ale that has a nuttiness quality that you taste midway down your throat. It's really weird because it's before an aftertaste but not tasted when you first drink it. I can't peg the actual flavor but a few more of these and I'll figure it out. This beer is highly drinkable, good carbonation, smooth with a nice consistency for an ale, unique and possibly the best brown ale I've ever had given that I'm not a big brown ale fan. I could drink a few of these at one sitting.

Update- I've had this beer again and it wasn't nearly as good as the first time. Gone was the high drinkability and the flavor was missing that nutty quality. I'll be having this one again just to see if I can have my original beer back.

Had it many times since and it’s excellent. Disregard my update, Must of had some old beer.
