Lightly foggy neon magenta to lighter ruby with a tall Pepto pink foam that settles to a creamy film thickening at the edge leaving some spotty lace.

Passion fruit is the star here and I love it. Exploding with a floral herbality on the nose and kicking off the tart, delish taste with seedy boldness, the passion fruit never stops. More mango, guava and dragon fruit emerge with time, especially towards the bottom of the glass.

Cuvee de Wakefield is perfectly tart and insanely drinkable with a tingly tartness and a crisp, soft carbonation that closes out semi-dry.

It's an absolute tropical adventure on the palate, like Miami Madness with a red fruit accent.

Fruit character is pleasantly smooth and not astringent, but the beer lacks underlying depth and character. More a face value beer that just relies on the obvious fruit character. Pleasant bit not special.

The beer pours a Clear vibrant pink with a thin white head that recedes quickly. It has medium carbonation. The beer smells of passion fruit, guava, lime, mango, and strawberry. It tastes tart, with passion fruit, guava, mango, and strawberry. The feel is light and refreshing. A good sour from J Wakefield.

Beautiful color on the pour, one of the nicest looking beers around. The flavors hit with a moderate level of acidity and a vibrant fruit punch. A tasty beer with a high price of admission.

Poured out as a vibrant reddish pink color with a thin white head on top. The smell of the beer is loaded with tropical fruit sweetness, smells like a juice honestly. The taste has a nice tartness to it along with the fruity sweetness to balance it out. Overall the beer is very nice. Would love drinking it in the summer.

Had my brother come through big time on this one. Utterly gorgeous look. So pretty for any beer. Smell is beautiful guava. Really great 2nd in line to degrade. Taste follows through really nice upfront but I feel the fruit quality dissipates quickly. A good amount of minerality. Mouthfeel had a good amount of sour I just would like something more full. A little punchy tart.

Overall: I was expecting a little more but nevertheless I'm not disappointed at all. In the world of berliners, it doesn't really get much better than this. I really like fruited sours and berliners so I definitely enjoyed this particularly as guava is a tough thing to nail well. I can't see this as being a good one to sit on.

What the cuvée is it's a blend of dfpf and miami madness. A paler color then dfpf but still very pink. It's one of the best sours I've ever had and honestly I think it's better then dfpf.

Looks just like DFPF. Maybe a little less red. The big difference though is that this beer has a dry sour finish while DFPF has a sweet finish. It was very wine like so I'm assuming that it was stored in a wine barrel. It was one of over 20 Berliners on Miami Madness Day and it seemed to be one of the favorites.

Not a sour fan bit this beer is quite good. Had on Miami madness day at Wakefield brewery. Served in miami madness snifter. I enjoyed this beer much better than dfpf.
