16 ounce can, no dating I could find on it. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a somewhat clear dark reddish/copper color with about an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like toasted malt, caramel, dark fruit, dark bread and some clove. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some brown sugar and raisin flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and a bit rich with a moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. Thought this was a good overall doppelbock, definitely worth trying and glad I got to try this one!

L: Medium to darkish red-brown, translucent but nearly clear, with lots of fiery orange-red in the highlights; the khaki head forms with big bubbles at a pretty good size with nice lacing overall
S: Toasty, bready with lots of caramel backing; plenty malts with a slight hint of floral hops to balance
T: Follows suit with a touch of anise and toffee going in; finishes a little hotter than expected
F: Medium body, smooth with a bite, some dryness leading to a smoother feel as it sweetens; doesn't thin out too much in the end

A little pricey compared to the gold standard, Celebrator, but hits all the classic doppelbock notes.

From the 16 oz can in a snifter. This solid great brew from what I used to
always call "Beer Hell" which WAS Florida has given me hope! The doppel
pours a luminous red tinged dark brown with a very nice head of khaki foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows some nice light lacing. Nose of toasted malts,
dark breaded malts, brown sugars, raisin, and subtle yeast esters. Flavors hit the mark
for the style with dark raisin bread, cherry hints, brown sugars, subtle banana,
light clove, and nicely toasted malts. Mouth feel is medium teetering towards
medium full, smooth, lightly syrupy, subtly warming, rich, and finishing faintly
dry.

Overall--WOW! Solid style appropriate session worthy brews from Florida!??!!

Awesome!
