12oz can poured into Duvel tulip. CANNED ON 05/16/19 printed on bottom rim of can. Picked it up at the grocery store for $2.

Appearance - Medium white head that dies quick and leaves a thin, decent lacing. Body is very hazy and actually has this unique quality like frosted glass. I have not seen this effect before in a hazy beer. Light gold on backlight, medium gold on front light. 3.5

Smell - Strong vanilla, strong alcohol, strong creamy sweetness. However, there is an unsettling, actually kind of off-putting similarity between this and a vanilla scented candle. This is lovely on a candle, but seems out of place in a drink. 2.5

Taste - Alcohol and vanilla and sweetness. I'm not entirely sure what I'm even tasting. It's bizarre, and almost gives the impression it's not really meant for human consumption. 1.75

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied. Sharp, astingent, offputting in a chemical way. 1.75

Overall - Not enjoyable. Makes me wonder if there's real vanilla in there or some kind of vanilla-like chemical. If it's real vanilla only, they should really put that info on the can to put people at ease, cause it has a very offputting taste and feel, especially not knowing. 1.75

On tap.
The beer was a clear gold color with no head.
Faint aroma of vanilla and grain.
Taste followed the nose, vanilla and grain.
Both aroma and taste were underwhelming.
Not very creamy, but still a nice beer on a hot day.

On-tap at Red Door Brewing, Albuquerque, NM

A: The beer is clear light yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a patch of white bubbles on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of vanilla cream soda are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and for the most part tastes almost like a vanilla cream soda, except that the finish tastes a bit like a blonde ale.
M: It feels light-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has nice aromas and flavors that are very resemblant of a vanilla cream soda.

On tap at brewery. Hazy orange golden body with soft soapy head. Mildly sweet aroma which favors the grain bill over the vanilla. Texture not as creamy as the style should be. Still a very mild drinkable ale.
