Notes:
Classic Wisconsin lager, sporting an American malt profile. Moderate mouth feel, mild bittering and superb drinkability.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a becker glass.
A: Clear, medium golden color with one rapidly diminishing finger of white foam that leaves behind a continuous surface residue. Scant lacing remains on the glass and multiple streams of eager bubbles rise in the column.
S: Mild crackery grain has aromatic qualities of its own that are joined by a fine thread of grassy hops.
T: Begins dry, with bready pale malt that takes on a more husky and aggressive Munich quality into the middle. Sweetness edges upward before acidity peaks, then flavors clear out in the short but yeasty finish. A trace of herbaceous green plant stems linger on the palate.
M: Thin to medium viscosity, very acidic on the palate, with moderate carbonation.
D/O: This pale lager portrays a malt focus that is well established, yet fails to elevate the product out of mediocrity. Flavors have little opportunity to become established before textural acidity becomes distracting. In a style that does not demand much respect, this beer would be better served by setting out to exceed the 'about as expected' reaction by its drinker.

Poured from a twelve once bottle into a czechvar glass.
Pours a medium straw with a decent head that recedes to a cap and laces adequately.
Aroma is of light malt and toasted bread with honey. Light noble aroma, slightly floral. Crackery malted notes dominate.
Flavor opens with well attenuated malts. Flavor is of hard tack bread and sourdough biscuits. Middle brings slight hops flavor. Hops are light and slightly bittering with a bit of fruitniness, but not well represented which I don't expect out of this style. Finishes dry even though the malt is heavy in this brew and a bit sweet. Hops actually finish with a flavor that I can only describe as floral, like rose hip tea.
Mouthfeel is crisp, carbonation is a bit high. There is a bit of a light mouthfeel given the flavor, but I think tis is what Kirby was after with this brew.
Overall I will say that this brew is a PERFECT bridge between BMC and light BMC to a good beer. This is what a lager should taste like and the malt is excellent in this one. This beer is flying off the shelves, and I have heard this first brewing is sold out, and I can tell why. This is a beer for macro drinkers that think that this is close to a macro, but isn't. The biggest thing I like about his beer is it has what other American Lagers don't have, flavor. I do think that other reviewers have been extremely harsh on this beer and have not rated it according to style, which it is excellent in i'ts style guidelines.
I hesistate to rate beers really high. That said, based on the style this is a HOME RUN. Keep it up Kirb.

Pours a deep gold with a decent head that shows some staying power before eventually settling down to about a half inch layer of foam. Aroma features graininess, and citrusy hops notes. Tasting also puts the hops at the forefront, thought hey do have a somewhat jarring harshness to them; graininess is also there to be found. There could have been a bit more carbonation to lighten up the mouthfeel. Overall, not unpleasant, but certainly not something I would seek out again.

Supper Club pours a straw yellow, no head, and alot of carbonation. The smell is offensive, and does have sweet banana like smell mixed in. The taste is mellow, a bit sweet, has some banana and tropical fruit notes. Rather light in flavor, but not too bad. Overall not a horrible beer, kinda interesting, and the most important part, the taste, is not bad.

Living in Chicago, Wisconsin is kind of like some magical wonderland, full of exotic beers that must be smuggled back across the border. The supper club is an institution of the Badger State, where locals gather to drink brandy old-fashioneds and slather hot bacon dressing on things.
Capital has brought out their Supper Club Lager, an homage to these wonderful places whose usual brew offerings are of the Bud/Miller/Old Style variety. It certainly falls in that camp, though...good? Reminiscent of Leinie's Original as well. Simple, drinkable, not for snobs. Kind of like Wisconsin itself.

A: Light golden clear in color. initial frothy head dissipates quickly, leaves no lacing.
S: Slight grainy odor with a bare hint of hops
T: Familiar crisp clean taste, not unpleasant but unremarkable. Fairly dry finish.
M: Light bodied and crisp, but not overly-carbonated.
D: Very drinkable and refreshing. Good session beer for a warm summer night. A bit bit pricey for this type though.

Another treat from my surprise Christmas mixer pack...
A - Pours a clear pale golden colour, finger of head with little retention and no lacing.
S - Scent is dominated by bready malts, sweet corn and hints of grassy hop notes on the finish.
T - Sweet corn and apple juice off the top, heavy bready malts, a buttery caramel flavour and a touch of grassy hops.
M - Medium bodied, smooth and wet.
O - Nothing fancy here. Reminiscent of any run of the mill macro lager with a tad more on the flavour profile. I suspect that's what they were aiming for on this brew, but it's not a brew to write home about. Nothing fancy, but certainly not terrible. An easy drinking brew that pairs well with any meal, and could easily be a session brew on a night of heavy drinking.

A - Pours a straw gold, fizzy, and is capped with a moderately-lived rocky white head.
S - The nose is lightly sweet, with mineral and grain notes. Very pleasant.
T - The taste is basically the same; small amounts of sweetness, some mineral notes, and a good amount of grain. Pale Lager is rarely more straightforward-delicious.
M - Feel is medium-light and softly carbonated. More tooth than your average APL.
O - Quite nice, easily quaffable; I will have it again.

I am greeted with a label that says "Capital Supper Club - A Wisconsin state of mind" paying homage to the dying prevalence of the small town Wisconsin Supper club. It brings back some nostalgia having grown up in rural Wisconsin. Off to the side it offers the description of "Not Bad", and nothing else.
A - pours like a high life, a thin white film resides over the painfully transparent body, a shade dark of straw yellow.
S - Smells of some basic grains, it is nice to see a lager of this kind without the overbearing slap in the face of corn. Smells really sweet.
T - Sweet in a weird way, a lot like a malt liquor. Sweetness is a kind of astringent fruitiness almost like a cheap white wine.
M - Tart and thin, about what you'd expect.
O - The label says it all

I've been hearing a lot about this beer around town, tons of advertising. my wife picked up a 6 pack and we split a bottle tonight. looked decent enough, but the nose and then the taste was pretty bad. tastes like miller or any other macro brew. if anyone wants the other 5 bottles, let me know.
