Pours a soapy, off-white head that has nice persistence. Sweet malt and spicy hops aroma. Clear, copper color. Starts with a robust flavor; sweet malt and spicy hops. Builds into a medium grainy hoppiness. Finish is sweet malt and lingering hops.

Overall, not bad. It's a bit on the sweeter side than many, but it has a robust enough hoppiness to counteract that.

On tap at Capital Brewery- 12oz poured into a plastic cup 9/2/2014.

A- Medium dark orange-brown body, one finger frothy white head with minimal retention. [3.25]

S- Sweet malt, bread, toffee, spices and noble hops. [3.25]

F- Toffee, crackery bread, noble hops. Fairly sweet with a slight bitter kick on the backend. Nothing too complicated. [3.25]

M- Thinner bodied, very refreshing and crisp, drinkable and disappears quickly. Which I assume is the purpose behind the way they made this beer. [3.25]

O- Nothing too special, it's a lighter Oktoberfest with decent flavours. Not a lot of complexity but for what it is, it's not terrible. [3.25]

Nice appearance. Golden brown and orange. Decent amount of flavor for an Oktoberfest. I’m not a big fan of Oktoberfests, but this one is decent.
