Pours out pale gold and sits golden amber in the glass with a decent soapy white head, fades slowly to a thin skim with some decent lacings.

Smells of sweet honeydew, canned pears, light cloves and dry grassy aroma. Specks of vegetal presence, but very faint.

Tastes lightly sweet up front with bits of light melon fruits and boiled peaches. Hop bitterness increases, bringing forth a mildly spicy, peppery flavor with bits of allspice. Mild tartness of appleskins and apricot, some toasted caramel notes here and there. Fades off into a grassy field of wild flowers and grapeseed.

Crisp, moderated carbonated and medium-light in body. Glides smoothly and securely around, fresh and refreshing.

Not all too sure about this, a very solid spiced beer with no harsh edges, it's got that going for it, if anything. ....I've got nothing else...

Back is the fold after a couple years' hiatus.

Pours clear, clean gold with a brief white foam.
Scented of candied apples, juicy pears, dry prairie, and honeysuckle.
Begins with a caramel-glazed sweet apple fruitiness, towing with it pear and apricot. Flickers of nuttiness prelude caramelized ginger and a return, of sorts, to sweetened applesauce. The hops are both grassy soft and stalky sharp, juxtaposing lavender and fescue grass. Squeals of apples still exist upon the swallow.
Medium in build, inching possibly larger. The carbonation is light but persistent.
Akin to a juiced hellesbock....which is, more or less, what it is. This was a favorite of mine, and I'm ever so glad to have it back.
Delicious and basically peerless.
