V: It seems like they crammed a lot into a space that's not that big. There's a long L-shaped bar, with a few tables and armchairs scattered throughout the place. A bunch of TVs hang from the walls. Everything seems very sleek and steely, which doesn't always give the most inviting aura. Still, not a bad space.

Q: WOB has a decently high quality with their beers, with their stock mainly focusing on domestic brews.

S: The bartender was attentive and friendly, though I didn't ask any beer-related questions.

S: A nice selection of local / state beers (Alewerks, Champion, Hardywood), national (21st Amendment, Lagunitas, Ommegang), and foreign (Unibroue, St. Bernardus, Huyghe). There are a couple of macrobrews (PBR and Guinness), but they're in the minority. WOB has a large selection of both bottles and draft. They're not overly rare brews, but a solid selection nonetheless.

F: The food was pretty tasty - I had a German pretzel the size of my head. Worth a try.

Atmosphere: Nice set up with a big bar, high top table, nice outdoor patio. small stage for music, but I haven't been there for any yet. Lots of tvs. I mainly use this as a place to have a beer and catch a sporting event, and for that its pretty good vibe.

Quality: the beer served here is anywhere from always on the shelf staples to specialty release. some more limited things that other world of beers but nothing too crazy. usually have a few tap only kegs. Note the go to rare beer place.

Service: never had a problem, they have always been nice and helpful.

Selection: they boast there wide selection but it isn't a super rare one. good support of local breweries and a good representation of style but not quite comprehensive. Plus the prices are a bit out of control.

Food: decent to sub par bar food.

Overall: like I said a place to catch a game or watch a show but not a hangout or a go to bar by any means. but not a bad place to grab a beer.

Pros - Beer was served at appropriate temperatures. Non-arctic digits. Decent selection of West Coast and Northeast U.S. breweries, European standards, and giant pretzels.

Cons - This place has been open only about three weeks. This has nothing to do with how poorly every beer was poured. Despite a beer list with a surfeit of information about each beer, nowhere could we find details about the glassware in which each beer was served. Is this beer coming to me in a 10oz goblet, a shaker pint, a stein, a golden goose? Who knows. Maybe they flip a coin. It sure was fun matching the beer prices on the paper menu with the prices on the digital tablets. Guess what - the higher price is the correct one, every time! For example, one beer we ordered was listed at $5.00 on the paper list, but on the tablet and the check was charged at $6.50. Given that it also wasn't advertised as coming in a goblet and was only about 2/3 full, this was very disappointing. If you consider nothing else about this review, please be advised that Chris W.'s photo of the typical WOB beer pour is true to form. Sure, some beers require head in the glass, but this was clearly a result of management cutting corners at the expense of the customer. It is doubtful whether or not this will get better with time, as each bartender seemed to adhere to the same 2/3 full rule of filling pint glasses. Nothing says "world-class" beer bar like drinking from half-empty glasses.

Sure, some improvement will come with time and things such as mismatched paper-listed and computer listed prices will corroborate eventually...but I'm very doubtful that the quality of the pours will improve unless management takes heed to the value of offering customers a decent glass of beer as incentive to return. Until I hear or see otherwise, I would steer clear of WOB if you're looking for a good or even fair pour of beer.
