Not my favorite. If you are starting with this beer, you will probably enjoy it, but if you have drank some good beers with unique flavors, then this will be disappointing.

I got a can of this off the Binnys single shelf. It poured a clear brownish amber with no head and no lace. The scent had hints of brown sugar and nuts. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink...there was some maple and nut presence. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation with good carbonation. Overall it wad ok.

Poured from the tap at the brewery. The appearance is a murky brown color with a small white head. The aroma is full of roasted malt. The flavor has a nice roasted malt flavor with a hint of nut. Overall, a really good brown ale.

Pours a nearly crystal-clear brown with a finger of khaki foam on top. Head retention is fair, with no lacing left behind. Aroma is nutty biscuit malts with a hint of pecan. Flavor profile is smooth, with notes of pecans, and nutty and biscuit malts. Mouth feel is medium in thickness, with a smooth, semi-crisp feel. Overall, a nearly straight forward, classic brown ale - pecan is the only twist on the old moniker.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 12oz can.

Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/5 inch head of a white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, slight alcohol, hint of roasted malt, caramel malt, and slight maple syrup. Fits the style of an American Brown Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of caramel malt, slight yeast, nut, hint of maple syrup, and sweet malt. Overall, weak appearance, decent aroma, body, and blend.

This beer, from a can, is a semi-clear brown (dark-chestnut) color with a thin head. The aroma is a little thin, but has some grain, a bit of toasted malt, and some nuttiness. The taste is a little more pronounced with malt and bread crust. Fuller in body than the aroma lead me to believe, and easy to drink. There is, after searching, some pecan flavor, but it is subdued. Okay.
