Deep copper to brown in color with a light sediment suspended within the body. There's a fingernail of off white resting around part of the rim and half of the center. Aroma is comprised of light malt with a touch of saltiness. I taste a moderately malty body comprised of caramel The mouth is a bit wet and quaffable.

My first beer from this Illinois brewery. As a long time fan of Anchor Steam I was glad to try this.
A fluffy off white head that retained for a while with a bronze/copper translucent color. A bit murky.
Not much aroma. faint hops?
Very drinkable with malt flavors but nothing heavy a good beer for after mowing the lawn, which I did today.
Some substance on the bottom of the mouth.
This was a pick a six that I am glad I added.

Pours a dark amber with a small head. Smells of malt and honey are inviting and enjoyable. Drinking this beer I got a lot of malt and caramel flavors but it seemed well balanced. Overall a solid beer and cool style. Give it a try.

Pours a clear, copper color. One inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong pale malt, caramel malt, slight sweet malt, hint of hops, hint of yeast, and a hint of pine. Fits the style of a California Common / Steam Beer. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of strong pale malt, caramel malt, slight sweet malt, hint of hops, and a hint of pine. Overall, good appearance, but aroma and body are average, but the blend is good.

From a 12 ounce can, this is a clear, dark amber liquid with a thin off-white head. The aroma i s woody, with some toast and bread in the background. The taste is semi-sweet, with lots of toasted malt flavors and a centering bitterness. Firm, medium-full in body. Very drinkable and worth a try.
