Somewhat clear toffee brown, fizzy beige head that fades quickly. Smells of roasted pecans, caramel, salt, and general malts, as promised. Taste is so salty, pecan is overwhelming, caramel is roadkill in its wake, it's like they fermented salty nuts. Feel is thin, smooth, salty, and watery.

12 oz can, no date, purchased in KCMO. Boiler snifter.

Pours a gorgeous glowing mahogany color with a creamy head of 1 finger receding to a thin ring. Lots of effervescent bubbles spiraling up.

As promised, there is salt on the nose, with some fainter notes of butterscotch pudding and slight peat.

Flavor is pleasantly sweet with heavy waves of sticky pecans, and shades of caramel and brown sugar. Fainter notes are the salt, slight dark fruit, and peat. It's surrounded by water but the flavor that is there is very very good.

Feel is watery and smooth, with a biting acidity and some nice alcohol heat as well (surprising for a low ABV beer but welcome here as it fits).

Overall a very tasty and delicious dessert beer and it's not too heavy either. I'd definitely buy more if/when I saw it again.

Dark amber with thin head. Lots of caramel on the nose, far different from caramel malt though. Artificial. Flavor reminds me of cream soda but more caramel and worse. Sweet. Thin mouthfeel.
Old review from November 10, 2018, which doesn't make much sense: Draft. Amber with moderate head. Lightly nutty, but pretty light for a brown. There's a moderate dose of grapefruit hop flavors, but not very bitter. Light to moderate carbonation. 3.5, 3.5, 3.25, 4.25, 3.5

On tap. Poured a light brown color with a small, tan head of bubbly foam. It smelled of caramel, salt and roasted malt. It tasted faintly of salted caramel with the usual brown ale characteristics.

Aroma is fruit, mild caramel and a hint of salt. The flavor is caramel/mild butterscotch, malts, fruit, slight salt and a slightly cloying sweet finish.

12oz can poured into a pint glass shows a dirty copper-orange, capped with a good 1/4in head of creamy, soapy head leaving spotted lacing.

Aroma and flavors includes caramel, butter pecan, nuttiness, and slight bitterness. It's not too sweet, which was a surprise.

Mouthfeel is lighter medium and a wet finish.

Overall a nice brown.

Taste: sweet, caramel toffee, buttery pecans, brown sugar. Same with the sweet nutty caramel nose. Deep copper hue, semi clear with a tan head and some lace. Medium to med/light body. A dessert ale for sure.

12 ounce can. Pours golden red with a decent beige head. Aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is malt, caramel, and pecans. On the sweet side. Interesting in a good way.
