Fairly large bar with 60 taps. It's one of the few places in Copenhagen that will do flights. Decent quality beers but you will rarely find high-end stuff here.
Guests are mainly tourists and locals with a casual interest in craftbeer. It is popular among "tickers" though. There are better places in Copenhagen but Taphouse is respected among locals. As with most bars in Copenhagen there is no food available.

Taphouse is right in the middle of Copenhagen, near Ströget.
Place is pretty big, with a long bar and plenty of seating. No specific vibe, just kinda generally Scandinavian. Service is equally Scandinavian, not a lot of chit chat, but they know what they're serving, if you ask.
Taplist is immense. About 60 taps, spanning the globe and most styles. There is something for everyone here. Quality is good, it seems they look after their lines well.
Overall, a fine beer place, if nothing else the huge variety will make sure you find something good. Taphouse is not in the top tier of Copenhagen beer places to me, but just below.

I got to Copenhagen a couple times a year for work and always make time to visit the Taphouse. First, it's conveniently located near the city hall square. The bar is very casual with no TV's and plenty of seating in long bench tables and small single seat areas. There's another seating area downstairs.
The beer list is fantastic. There's always 61 beers on tap and the list is numbered and color coordinated by style. IPAs dominate, but there's plenty of sours, stouts, pilsners, Belgians, and other styles. If a new keg is put on the lights flash red and the list will have a star next to the beer. You'll always know what's fresh that day. Also, since the list is electronic, you can view it on your phone using the free wifi. They'll also open a tab for you buy giving you a 3 digit code assigned to your credit card. Most beers come in a small or large size with prices average for Copenhagen ($9-$15 depending on beer and size).
The only negatives I can think of are the lack of outlets to charge a phone and small mens room. Other than that, you won't be disappointed if you're looking for a good, quality European craft beer.

Good bar in central Copenhagen with 61 taps available. Friendly staff who were happy for me to taste any of the beers. Has a happy hour until 6 pm when about 10 beers are large for the price of small. Many beers are Danish. All beers tasted were fine.
