Small head, but decent lacing. Clear and slightly flat. For double hop expected more aroma. Medium on palate. Decent hop bitterness, pine with floral.

Appearance: Pours a 70% hazy, medium, deep, but pale orange color. A strong and soft white head. SRM of 10-11. (4.00)
Aroma: Huge and resinous aromas upfront of orange, peach, and pineapple. Intensely juicy and the aroma is all there. (4.50)
Flavor: The flavors that follows with intense orange, peach, and pineapple. The middle if full of peach and sweet orange phenols. Almost like gasoline. Then it finishes with a hop burn and plastic taste toward the end. Not too sweet. Minimally bitter. The flavor falls off the backend. (3.50)
Feel: Medium-body. Moderate to low carbonation. Still, a sort of flat mouthfeel though. A hop burn astringency leaves on the palate. (3.50)
Compared to Surly's Axe Man IPA 4/24/21: Pours a slightly deeper orange. Stronger and jucier aromas. More orange, peach, and pineapple.
Compared to 3 Floyd's Foggy Geezer IPA 6/8/21: Pours a hazier color. Stronger aromas. More juicy orange, tropical pineapple and peach, with a stronger herbal hopburn bitterness. I suppose less smooth orange and tropical notes. More intense overall.
Overall: This beer was sort of like falling off a cliff. The appearance and aroma are all there. Bam and Bam, it hits you with an amazing and resinous aroma. Orange, peach, pineapple, mango!... Then on the flavor it drinks with a liquor burn and finishes flat with some bitterness which I presume is hop burn on the finish. Great aromas, but falls of a cliff on the flavor and body. (Final Rating: 3.82)

good beer here, very much in the east coast new wave tradition, all milky and thick and stupidly hoppy on the nose, but a little overly grainy here, like cereal dust from the bottom of the bag, and a little thick for me, doughy even for a moment in the middle, so while they are certainly on to something, this is a few tweaks away from being all the way amazing. for one though, the hops are awesome and extremely assertively dosed, grapefruit and peach come to mind, lots of fruit, pineapple juice, red apple, its all happening. vegetal and leafy though too, fresh tasting. dramatic mouthfeel here, especially in the absence of much hop bitterness. instead, this ends up being really thick from being so raw, and its heavy as a result. dry, plenty dry, but still weird on the palate after the swallow, like some of the order of things got switched around. i love how aggressive and fresh this is, i like the bucking of the more traditional ipa types, but this still isnt quite there, although they have captured a pretty incredible aromatic profile on this one. these guys are on their way to some pretty impressive things i have a feeling, keep your head up for them...

Rumor is that this is infected troll way that they added some more hops to. Makes sense because it wasn't good.
White head. Golden orange color.
Tastes like spent grains from homebrewing. Cereal grains all the way. Some earthy and pine flavors but no IPA flavors what so ever.
This was a terrible take on an IPA and very upset that they would even put this on tap. Wasted my money for sure.
