Thanks #2. I appreciate it.
Pours attractively with a soft coffee aroma that does not overpower (at least initially) the soft malt . Quite clear darker golden color and full 1 inch white head that settles down with some lacing.
Coffee is foremost but the background malt is there. The coffee is more grounds tasting than beans. Interesting mix of some crispness but also ale body. In time a little sweetness comes through, which is nice but the roast pushes at times to a little harsh.

golden ale with coffee, picking up just a little bit of an amber hue from the addition of the java it looks like, with a frothy white rising head from the tap, clearish and very active. smells like coffee, a lighter to medium roast on it, and likely a cold brew extraction, with a lot of the earthy and cocoa elements coming out in front of the roast, even hints of maple and molasses like when a good cold brew gets some ice melted into it, some malt sweetness here too, but simple on the grain side for sure. its a shame this isnt a little drier, or that there isnt a little more bitterness with the coffee to balance out the sweetness of the pale malt, its just a little more than i want as a session beer, its not the coffee but the residual sugar that slows me down, otherwise this would be a ripper. the coffee is fresh though, and quite boldly dosed. meanwhile, its well carbonated and drinks with some pep. i have liked these guys in the past, but recently they seem have taken the next step. inventive beers that are well executed is really all i ever want! i could see this working well on nitro too...

Poured a clear, golden-yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of fresh roasted coffee and sweet caramel. Nice light coffee flavor up front with sweet toasted caramel.

Pours a crystal clear topaz color with a thin white head. Smells of crackers, bready malts, and coffee. Definitely a sweet note in there. Taste follows the nose minus the sweetness, with breadiness and a bitter coffee presence. Body is light-medium, fairly carbonated, and slightly dry. Easy drinking, and possibly the only coffee beer I could call refreshing. Nicely done.

Of all the coffee beers I've had, this is the best smelling. A truly amazing aroma with how the coffee plays with the golden ale. Usually I'm not that big of a fan of lighter coffee beers but this one really hits the spot. Pours a bright golden color. The beer is incredibly simple yet amazingly smooth and well balanced.

This beer pours a clear gold color. The head is a solid inch of study foam, and recedes slowly leaving good lacing. The aroma is pretty much all coffee. It is very simple, yet pleasant. The taste is similar. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with a silky texture, and lively carbonation. The higher than normal level of carbonation for a coffee beer cleanses the palate of any sort of bitter coffee aftertaste which is really nice. Overall, this is a pretty good beer. Its only detractor is its simplicity, but what it does do it does well.

Look - Light orange color. White head fades to a film and a thick ring. Good lacing on the glass.

Smell - Big coffee aroma, lighter roast. There's also noticeable beer aromas in the background, mildly citrusy hops, a light graininess, maybe some english yeast ester?

Taste - Light bready maltiness to start, midway through the coffee comes in big - again light roast. There's a faint hoppy flavor in there, lightly citrusy, lightly earthy, maybe Cascade or Willamette. Long lingering coffee aftertaste. Very pleasant overall.

Mouthfeel - Medium carbonation. Provides a nice bite upfront.

Overall - This is a very enjoyable beer. It's a coffee beer for sure, but it was nice to see some of the beer aspects coming through, especially for something that started out as a blonde ale.

Dated 2/2, consumed 3/30. Purchased from a warm shelf at Cub. No oxidation or staleness detected.

Poured from a 16 oz. can into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy amber orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Solid finger of off white head that settles into a thin creamy patch.

Smell: A roasty and fairly sweet aroma with a scent of coffee beans and cream. Upfront scent of coffee beans. Sweet hints of cream and honey sweetness. Malt hints of grains, biscuit, and cracker with yeast. A pretty solid aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a roasty and sweet taste with notes of coffee beans and cream. Upfront taste of roasty coffee beans. Sweet taste of cream and honey. Malt notes of biscuit, grains, and cracker along with some yeast. A very nice taste.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp, creamy, and smooth.

Overall: A very solid Coffee Blonde ale. Good coffee bean flavor with the smooth creamy body of a Blonde.

Smells very much like a mixture of fresh coffee beans and flavored coffee. The taste has coffee upfront, with crackery malts, straw and light spicy hops playing a role as well. Somewhat creamy and dry, but a trifle thin. Overall, this is oddly refreshing.
