Bottle: Poured a golden color le with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing Aroma of tart notes with some lemony and Brett notes. Taste is a weird mix of Brett funky flavours with some tart notes and light mineral flavours. Body is about average with good carbonation. I did not particularly enjoy the funky Brett notes from this beer and the overall balance wasn’t stellar.

Pours a clear amber with creamy white foam in the Delirium Tremens snifter. Bubbles streaming in the glass and sprightly on the tongue. Aroma of yeast and fermenting pineapple.

This seems to be the current classic Wild Ale taste— more tart than funky, and with the endless bitter yeasty aftertaste. Not as bad as some and at least there's a hint of malt flavor left. There's a little flavor of cider, but dry. I think of the unpasteurized cider I used to let ferment in the garage with whatever wild yeast came with the apples. But if you let it go too long, it fermented all the way dry, and it was lousy, like this.

Overall this just seems like what could have been a good Saison gone wrong. From the 750 ml bottle mercifully capped instead of corked. Purchased at Bine & Vine in San Diego for 13 bucks.
