Tucked into a strip mall, this un-assuming storefront plays host to a sublime beer selection. Walking in feels a tad clastorphobic, with shelves stretching to the ceilings. The first beer selection the consumer passes is a mix-six shelf which is organized by overarching style, so someone seeking out all new IPAs, lagers, sours, etc. could focus on these. The remainder of the beer is against the back wall, which is a row of door coolers. Inside the door coolers are packs of beer, with the opposite dry, room temperature shelf holding single bottles (500mL or larger in size). Selection is fantastic and even includes many Russian River offerings at the time of this writing (the most complete I found in town). Staff was friendly and helpful in guiding my decision for a camp-worthy beer. Wonderful little stop.

Another big box liquor store but packed with a fine collection of beers from all over the country and the world. It is centrally located within Colorado Springs.

Vast selection of beer. After 3 years in Belgium it was nice to see a vast selection of things from about everywhere. Talking just a little with the staff seemed very helpful.

Veterans wine and liquor has one of the best selections of craft beer south of Denver; however, what really sets them apart is their superior customer service. The employees seem to have a genuine passion for beer, and utilize that passion and knowledge to make sure every customer finds what they want. I have to give a special shout out to their employee Robert who had put a very rare beer aside for himself (as all true beer fans would do). Upon inquiring about that beer and talking with him for a few minutes he offered to let me buy it, as he has already had it before. This may not seem like a big deal to some people, but I had spent five years trying to find this particular bottle.

If you are in the market for rare craft beer, or any beer/wine/liquor at great prices with fantastic service, look no further than Veterans.

This is not the biggest liquor store, but it is packed with stuff. They have a small mix n match 6-pack cooler, which changes frequently. I do wish they had more choices for mix and match, as they tend to have some macros in there as well. They have a huge selection of craft beer. They get rare stuff in pretty often as well, but you might have to call and see what's available because it changes. If you "like" them on Facebook you can see what new beers they get it before they sell out. The staff is great, will help you with whatever you need. The quality and selection of beers available has pretty much converted most of my co-workers over to this liquor store even if it isn't particularly close to any of us.

EDIT 4/2018: Their prices have gotten even worse. They are $1-3 / bottle more than every other place in the city. They have started slacking on posting on social media. Much of their beer sits on a warm shelf. Recently saw a bottle that they were selling for 30% more than a place in Denver's normal price.

Impressive selection of beer. In the top 3 in the city, right up there with cheers. Perhaps only beat by coal train, but this place is easier to navigate. Add to that a killer whiskey selection, and this is a standby. Worth checking out if you are nearby.

I just moved to the springs from Dallas. Where I was spoiled to having all the craft beer I wanted at my finger tips. Then I went on the search for a new place to get my craft beers. This was like heaven. If they don't have it they will find out. Very knowledgeable staff and very friendly. I would recommend this store to everyone I know and meet.

Best store we found in the Springs for beer. Both gentlemen working were very helpful with recommendations. Price tags were even color coded so that the IPAs stood out.

Great little store in a strip mall in central CO Springs. Great selection, especially Colorado crafts, super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Prices are on par with most of the other stores in town. The great folks here are what keeps me coming back!
