500 ml can (advent 14) poured into a hefe glass. A slightly hazy golden orange with one finger head that moves immediately to a thin lace. Aroma is clove, banana, and spices. The taste is right in line with the aroma. Medium carbonation and feel. A hefe worth a go.

Pours a slightly foggy straw yellow with two fingers of stark white head. Head retention is good with great lacing left behind. Aroma is pilsner, bread, and biscuit malts with a touch of yeast and clove in the background. It smells like fresh biscuit dough with a bit of clove and yeast in the background. Flavor profile is biscuit, and bread malts. Clove with a little bit of yeast add a little sweetness to the back end. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a lightly fizzy, but otherwise smooth texture. Overall, a sweet, doughy beer that sips easily in both flavor and feel.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 16oz can.

From the Advent box. Poured into a snulip. A hazy golden color with a two-finger white head. Nice retention. Lots of bubblegum and banana, faint clove and wheat on the nose. The taste fell a bit below my expectations from the aroma. All the elements were there, but it felt a bit washed out and muddled. The feel was also thin. Medium carbonation.

Served in a pint glass from the can.

Appearance: Looks more like a lager than a hefeweizen, darker but very transparent gold color. Initially a thick white head rising about two finger's length dropping after the first sip wth very sticky lacing.

Smell: Banana skin, and super bland. Worst property of the beer.

Taste: After you let it sit for a bit there's a semi-sweet banana feel to the beer. Lightly bitter and touch malty. Lacks some complexity which I've had with other german hefeweizens.

Mouth: Not really sticky, and lacking complexity when placing the glass down.

Overall: Descent brew, i can think of a few better hefs for a lot cheaper. I got this from an advent calendar

Huber Weisses poured with a large thick head that was long lasting. As it started to dissipate, the head gained a lot of peaks and valleys. The color was very straw yellow, a 3 or 4 on the SRM scale. It is pretty hazy, but that is common for hefewiezens.

A big yeasty smell is the most present scent, but I swear I detect some licorice lingering in there as well. The flavor is less nuanced than I'd expect from a hefewiezen. There's big, obvious wheat flavor, and some of that yeast comes through as well. I do not get any banana or clove, even though they are common for the style. It's a pretty simple flavor. Also, it's pretty highly astringent; almost immediately after a swallow, my mouth is left feeling dry.

This is a short review, but there just isn't much to this beer. I'm not a fan of Hefeweizens in general, and I can't imagine I'd ever go for this again.

Hazy golden hue with a nice aroma. The beer is very smooth and mild with just a hint of citrus tones. Great feel and lingers well. This is a strong entry in hefeweizens variety. Nice beer.
