A: Coffee (black) brown, minature rising carbonation although hard to see, perfect even 4 finger head of small to medium bubbles and capucino color.

S: Sweet dirt, ha. chestnut coffee, slight sweet nutiness compounded with something like allspice.

T: Very similar to the way it smells, more so than most beers. Very coffee like, albeit cold, nutty coffee, tinge of sweetness. Very nice. I can't drink coffee because the caffeine, but this is a lovely alternative. Very natural and subtle bitterness.

M: Slightly grainy which gives it a nice texture. Medium to heavy body.

O: Very nice beer. No complaints, and different.

Best before 22-10-05. This one is unfitered and poors in with great and lasting head. Color is darkbrown/almost black and not able to look through or see how clear it is. Nose is good being sour(wheat) malty & lots of dark malts. Further a good hopnote as it should be comming out of the Hallertau. Taste is litle empty for a darkbeer, probably cause of huge amounts of wheatmalt witch also brings in the sournote. Further some darkmaltarome that brings in an oak& hazelnut note before ending sour and litle bitter. The emptyness makes mouthfeel just not as could be but easy to drink and something else as the regular Dunkles comming from Obberbayern.

Pours deep brown with a ruby hue. Large head that lasts for a while leaves some spotty lace. Nose is mildly estery with light citrus and clove/banana, but excels with additional aromas of light caramel and a touch of a tartness. Taste has those same elements and as it warms brings some added roasted notes. Overall, I really enjoyed this beer although I missed a big estery nose a little.

Pours dark brown, big more than two finger foamy beige head, great retention.
Smell of wheat, some nuttiness, faint dry wood and very faint dry figs.
Sweet and sour start, with banana, red apple and lemon juice. Dark malts, not too rough, with a bit of caramel and a hint of cocoa. Spicy yeasts, with clove and faint cinnamon. Keller notes. Some bubblegum fruity hops in the finish, very mild bitterness.
Not too heavy for a its style, smooth carbonation, quite creamy. Nice.
A great beer, nice enhanced dunkelweizen.

Pours a vibrant hazelnut-dark brown color, together with a huge, superfroth beige head.

Smells of herbs, toffee malts, big chunks of earth coated malts, and a lingering smoked quality. Has a slightly tart, wet hay characteristic to it, perfectly enriching the rustic, headstrong aromas, by adding a mellowing touch.

Has a world class mouthfeel to it, utmost soft, with a silk finish, in which you get the impression to be able to pick up all the flavors, while the liquid carefully caresses the tongue. Its carbonation is visible though, creating a nice, refreshing quality, which balances the sweeter turning malts during the finish.

Tastes of earth, smoked fish skin, balanced by salt and toffee, together with wood bark, and spices, which evoke a pleasant dry quality. More smoky malts evolve on the palate, once the beers bubbly carbonation lends a mineralic quality to the flavors, making this very smashable. While it features a somehow strange melange of flavors, they blend together beautifully, establishing a smoked wood earth character the morning after sitting at a bonfire. Finishes clean, sweet and smoky with a tart, dry spiciness at the back end of the palate.

This one truly blew me away. I expected a dark, well crafted Weissbier, but got so much more out of it. A true plethora of flavors constantly evolve on the palate, leading to a very focussed, expressive finish, with lots of layers of smoke, malts and a punchy twist.
