Notes: Double IPA brewed with Pilsner malt, Two Row, malted spelt, and flaked wheat. It was hopped heavily with Citra, Idaho 7, Simcoe, and a touch of Sabro. After going through fermentation with our house ale yeast, it was then dry-hopped with more Simcoe, Citra, and Idaho 7.

A: The beer is slightly hazy dark golden yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving just a small patch of bubbles on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge of the glass, and some lacing down the sides.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit, lime, and pine are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of grapefruit gooseberries, lime, and tangerine along with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. Only a slight amount of crispness is present.
O: This Imperial IPA manages its alcohol very well from the taste, making it quite drinkable.
