The last brewery I visited on my beer day in Seattle.

V - Fix the late afternoon sun issue as it makes almost half of the tap room unusable. Otherwise the big garage tap room without windows looking onto the brewery. 3.75

Sel - Only Holy Mountain beers. Nothing dark or heavy. 3.5

Ser - Nice folks. I was not needy. 3.75

Q - Good glassware, clean, etc. 4

F - No food

Eccentric place, a bit hard to find at first because of confusing address system. Mostly women drinking beer and only women serving., which I found unique. Some perfect beers, no bad one. Reasonable prices for the quality. No table service but there was at the bar. Some fruit flies. Liked the trains passing by view, but that does not make a great vibe.

Upon arriving, the vibe and ambience was relaxed and open. One side was open to a railroad, the other to the street. With constant heavy metal music playing the first 1.5 hrs, it was almost mind-numbing. But once the music changed and the temperature dropped, it was perfect.

The beers were phenomenal. Every single one of them that I tried were outstanding. Once the temp went from hot to comfortable with a great breeze coming through, I didn’t want to leave. I could’ve stayed all evening, if allowed to. Amazing place. The only addition I would suggest is ceiling fans in the tap room to circulate air when it’s warm outside like today.

This place is, dare I say Rad. I would have enjoyed a better opportunity to engage with the brewers, but I suppose I only cared because the beer was top notch. I liked the building and the brews on all sides of the spectrum. I will say that the beers did not growler well - loosing significantly in the next two days, but fresh on tap this is second to none in Seattle that I've tried. Get a Kiln & Cone or Kingshead!

Very pleasant atmosphere with great service. Selection varies depending on what is the most recent release. The quality of the beer brewed is generally very good.

Loved this place. As others have said it has a minimalist feel to it. Fairly roomy with seats at bar and throughout the building. Loved the long walkway into the tap room. Service was great. Eclectic list of beers on tap and in bottles.

Located in a unique spot that is much less bustling and a lot more mellow than downtown Seattle, the bar is moderately short, but the rest of the space is rather roomy, as it needs to be since it still gets quite busy despite its decentralized location. The bar top is a nice wooden bar, with a windowed view to some fermenters. The tap station is to the right, in front of the swag, and has a cute, understated appearance for such an up-and-coming brewer. A large garage door that opens in the back not only provides a view of trains as they go by, but is great for sunsets over Elliott Bay of the Puget Sound.

Service is mostly self unless you're at the bar, and the beers are more than worth it: very mature and complex saisons, super potent and dank IPAs, and strong, deep dark brews. Selection includes some local ciders and collaborations, but is limited to around 10 lines total, with some in-house bottles to consider. Two fresh hop ales were on when we visited, and they were our favorites of all the fresh hop brews we had over the course of a 1.5 week road trip through the entire Pacific Northwest.

it was awesome to make in to visit this brewery ever since i had my first beer from them. they are doing such a great job, it was a bit of a destination for us, totally worth it. the space is about as minimalist as i have ever visited, but its cool. a garage door in front opening to barrels and tanks, very blue collar, and a hallway through the adjacent door leads to a whitewashed taproom with nothing more than some booths and some tables, literally unadorned with any kind of decor. another garage door opens to busy train tracks behind, a long right angle bar runs the length of the place, and there is a view to the brew house behind it. they had a nice range of beers on, including a killer esb, some hoppy selections, and the saison types i had previously known them for. everything we had was awesome, but of all of them, a belgian single won the day for me. folks behind the bar warmed up to us pretty quickly, and we left as friends. prices were fair for the quality, and it was unpretentious really. i like the minimalist nature of the place. its not about a sporting match, a board game, or some lousy food cart, its all about the beer, and it shows in everything they are doing here. awesome brewery visit, ill be back when i make it back to seattle!
