Great place for the beer lover. No food, but bring your own. Emphasis on local beer but not to the exclusion of other great beers. This was an eye opener to me as to the quality of SC beer - who knew!

Service was great from Jamie - life and soul of the party!

While walking through the shops and restaurants in there is a nice little craft beer sign calling in the visitors. The bar is a small L shaped bar that can seat about 10. Huge blackboard listing 25 beers on drafts. Loads of craft beer signs here. This place has an interesting list, with some more of the harder to find local brewery beers. The service was very personable and friendly, and liked to talk beer.

I had a few pints while waiting for dinner, and each beer was fresh and quickly served. No food here, just some bagged popcorn and hot pretzels. Just over the bridge from Isle of Palm, this place is worth a stop.

10/19/16 After grabbing a little dinner appeteaser at the hotel, I strolled across the street for some adult beverage consumption, as I am wont to do.

Small little place. About 15 bar stools line the L shaped bar. A TV was playing the Blue Jays Indians game, which, in my opinion, is a snooze fest. Not really a baseball fan though. The set-up was a little weird. The L shaped bar was big, but there were posts in the middle that made conversing with others, if others were there, cumbersome and weird. One would have to crane one's neck continuously to make eye contact with someone.

The place was mostly empty except one other dude and the bartender. The draft list was up on the chalkboard and, although quantitative, wasn't exactly qualitative. A bunch of run of the mill stuff with the only interesting beers being a Peach Habanero IPA and a Viking Scottish Sour, whatever the hell that is. The draft system itself was pretty impressive. Each draft spout has a lever that controls the flow of CO2. This allows the establishment to minimize waste due to over carbonated and over poured beers.

There is either no A/C or it wasn't working cause it was hot and sticky in there. Not a bad place. Not much else going on in the area so it's a good place to stop. I liked the place and will probably go back.

I've only been to CD a few times but one thing is clear-you're here to drink beer, not much else-which is OK if thats what you're in the mood for. They do seem to go a little too left field for me by getting the most obscure beers from brewers who clearly have better to offer.A cool experience!

V: This place is located in a fairly high end strip mall, so don't expect an abundance of lived-in charm. It's a cozy joint and relatively new, but has a generally tasteful atmosphere. Prices were very fair.

Q: The quality of the beers is fairly high, with an emphasis on local brews. No macrobrews to be found her.

S: The bartender was friendly and attentive. I didn't test his knowledge, so I can't comment on that.

S: The selection was good and largely on tap (only about 6-8 bottles). They had locals Westbrook, COAST, Revelry) and nationals (Weyerbacher, Great Divide, Oskar Blues, Bell's). Not a mind-blowing selection, but likable.
