Had Amazing Haze in June 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden, poured from 33-cl. bottle, label stamped batch "640," and bäst före "171117" into small hand-blown tulip glass.

Another excellent Swedish-New England IPA, with deep color, decent head, and big citrus rind aroma, which delivers the gamut of citrus flavor over mild caramel malt, with a mildly drying finish.

Pours a hazy, golden amber, peach coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus/tropical notes of grapefruit, tangerine, mango and papaya, with a light grassydankness as well. Taste is a great balance of biscuity malt, juicy tropical notes of mango and papaya and zesty citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine, with quite a good, grassy, herbal dankness coming through as well. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some citrus/tropical and dank notes lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

This quite reminds me of their so-called "West Coast" Neipa, but is a little more subtely balanced and layered, with some nice, zesty citrus notes complementing the sweet, juicy tropical notes that dominate "West Coast", while maintaining that nice, grassy dankness that perhaps feels a bit moreherbal here. Definetely a great example of the style, especially considering the still relatively low ABV,

L - 1-finger offwhite head atop a translucent, juicy orange body.

S - oranges, grapefruit, herb.

T - citrus with pungent dankness. Earth, a little caramel. Low bitterness. Low sweetness. No booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - this is competitive with the NE IPA breweries. Very tasty!

Look: Hazy and dark golden. Head was decent.
Smell: When pouring the smell of papaya jumped out. Then, more tropical and stone fruits (mango, yellow peach), resin, a bit of citrus and fainter bready/biscuity stuff.
Taste: hops, whatever else? Fruity and resinous, as per the smell. Juicy as it gets. Malty tastes are rather faint, I'd say digestive biscuit but that's taking it a bit too far. A bit of booze but not even enough to be warming, just some volatile spirit-like notes. In any case, really good.
Feel: Very good. Just a tad more bodied than a West Coast IPA, even with the wheat malt, really smooth ending. Carbonation is medium to high.
Overall: Great New England IPA, nuff said.

Enjoyed at the Copenhagen Beer Fest. Reviewed from notes.

A - Poured a nice light golden hue with a thin white head.

S - Aromas of nice tropical fruits, little bit of pineapple and some musty peach aroma.

T - Taste is similar to the nose with more of those nice tropical notes, little bit of those stone fruit and musty hops. Light malts.

M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated and thin.

O - Overall this was a solid IPA. The tropical and peach notes were quite enjoyable.

Poured to a stemmed glass from BrewDog.

A: The body is yellow with high opaqueness but not as opaquene as the new NEIPA craze. The head is half a finger thick showing good retention and regular lacing.
S: The aroma is very fresh hops with a big resinous profile but not adstringent, being very very sweet. In the back, also some citrus showing up in a really cool manner.
T: The taste starts with a very good resinous profile that is high but not sharp and green. After that, comes a good malty touch being overtoned by the hoppy feeling that swallows everything else. In the end, this is a very well constructed beer even if it's not the perfect IPA. For me, it does have what it needs and that's what matters.
M: Body is medium. Carbonation is perfect. Alcohol is unnoticed. Bitterness is high but not sharp.
O: Even if it's not your regular American IPA, I will recommend this beer forever.

Train beer in Oslo.

Pretty juicy and fruity. Floral and earthy, but also mango, orange, grapefruit.

Medium bodied. Easy drinking. Pretty soft. Ends pretty clean.

Another good one from this brewery.

The appearance is incredibly hazy (duh), almost looking more like some form of fruit-slush than a beer.

Smell is delightfully fruity and sweet. Mango, grapefruit, and some minor acidic notes.

Considering how great this smells, this is disappointingly subtle. There are enjoyable tropical fruity notes in here, but overall it lacks in substance. The word balance is thrown around a lot. Sometimes to describe a beer that artfully manages to play multiple interesting flavors of one another, and sometimes as a word to use when there is little of substance to latch on to. This falls into the later category.

Mouthfeel is light with low carbonation. Drinkable.

Ultimately this is a fine beer, it's just boring and receives some hype that I think is undeserved.

200 ml glass from tap. Appearance is an almost clear golden honeyed shade, with a frothy head of white foam. The aromas are overwhelming - citrusy tropical fruits like pineapple and mango and grapefruit abound, without a single dominant aroma, with muted floral notes. On the palate, it is a sweet juicebomb of tropical fruit, like the aromas. Some light bitterness in the finish to balance this off. Mouthfeel is solid and decent, with a medium body and an average level of carbonation carbonation. Wonderful!

T: Juicy, mango, tropical fruits. Nice!

F: Light bodied but nice flavored. Very drinkable and refreshing.

O: Very good IPA. Would happily drink on any occasion.

From Boxbeers. In Teku glass. Watching Los Soprano 5x12-13. The haze isnt whats amazing here but the aroma and mouthfeel. The taste is excellent too, full of tropical fruits and citrus. One of those beers you start drinking it slowly at its end to avoid the end of the pleasure it provides

One of the best IPA I've had. It's very much balanced.

L - Hazy orange color with a two finger compact head

S - Brioche with apricot jam, candied tangerine and orange zest with a hint of chive

T - Fruity (citrus and peach) and floral (elderflower). Nice malt balance with a hint of sweetness. The bitterness is quite low but is there to balance the sweetness.

M - Velvety mouthfeel, the beer gently cuddles your palate

O - Once again a great NE style IPA from stigbergets. Great stuff

330 mL bottle. Deep orange body. Medium white head. Smells of citrus, caramel malt, and diacetyl. Ugh. Tastes much the same. Orange. Candy sweetness. Butter. Medium body. It's not the worst diacetyl flavor, but it definitely ruins it.

A 330ml bottle, batch 583, with a best before date of 17th July 2017. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.

Appearance: A hazy darkish orange colour with a just over one finger white head with great retention and nice lacing.

Aroma: Strong tropical and citrus fruits. Mango, pineapple, apricot, grapefruit and orange rind.

Taste: Blast of mango and pineapple sweetness balanced with grapefruit and orange rind bitterness, for some bittersweet goodness. A dry and long bitter finish.

Mouthfeel: Dry, medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: In my opinion, although not quite as good as GBG Beer Week 2016, this was another home run by Stigbergets. It’s got the stunning aromas, and the wonderful juicy tropical and citrus flavours that I enjoy, on top of the nice lasting bitterness. Brilliant stuff.

The colour is gold; the liquid is hazy. The two finger head is off-white and compact; it sinks down to a lid leaving some lacing on the glass.

The smell is robust with fruity New World hops – oranges, grapefruit, lemons, apple juice. Some lemon acid and candy sweetness. Lots of grapefruit juice here…

The initial taste is very bitter. Growing fruity sweetness brings balance. Grapefruit juice, mango, lemon peels, ripe apples and lime. Hints of wheat flour and flowers. Medium body. The aftertaste got growing alcohol, citric hops and sour fruit candy. The rather short finish is bitter with apples and plums.

The carbonation is medium strong, the mid-sized bubbles fresh and long-lived. The liquid is smooth.

A highly drinkable and balanced NEIPA.

A 330ml bottle brought from Copenhagen's Kihoskh beer shop. It pours a hazy yellow to orange colour with a lasting white head. Aromas is fruity, refreshing, sweet, hoppy, mango, grapefruit & melon. Taste is resinous, hoppy, bittersweet, buttery, lots of grapefruit, mango & tangerine. Very well balanced, smooth carbonation , medium to full body. A hoppy medium bitter citrusy finish. A outstanding beer.

Just as labeled, this pours entirely turbid, with a nice golden-orange color and a froth, white medium sized head.

Offers an amazing, powerful nose consiting of juicy, ripe oranges, papaya jam, lime bonbons and luscious pineapple. Layers and layers of fruits, with a crisp lemon punch develop instantly the impression of summer with just a hint of toffee malts to balance the aromas.

Drinks light, crisp with a well accentuated sparkly carbonation, dryer than expected with a slightly warming, long lasting lemon finish.

Tastes of passion fruit sorbet, wrapped up by lime pulp, papaya and ripe blood oranges, establishing two things from the get go - an intriguing, sweeter fruitiness, and a prominent, crisp lemon bitterness. Lime prevails on the tongue till the very end, while the fruits get toned down onwards from the mid palate, replaced by toffee malts. Finishes clean and dry, with a big lime punch instead of the beer's initial soft fruitiness, which lasts on the tongue for ages, wrestling down the malts successfully.

Awesome beer, extremely versatile on the tongue with a world class nose, which heads into the New England IPA direction, while its taste provides far more than a one-dimensional fruitiness.

Sweden's finest New England IPA!

Pours a hazy yellow-orange, with a lot of lacing on the glass.

The smell is as juicy as it gets, mango, pineapple and a bit of vanilla assault your nose. Amazing smell.

The taste is as juicy as the smell, with mango and pineapple leading the charge. Bringing up the rear is a smooth bitterness, that just lounges on the tongue, until the next sip. And you can't help the sips coming fast and furious.

Mouthfeel is soft and pillowy, so easy to drink it's ridiculous.

This is, in my opinion, the best beer made in Sweden. Unbelievably drinkable, it's easy on the eyes, easier on the nose, and downright slutty on the palate. Superb.
