Pours a slightly cloudy deep golden amber coloration with a medium, frothy head. Smells of caramel malt and resinous, citrus hops with notes of grapefruit and just a hint of pine. Taste follows the nose, with a good balance of sweet, caramel malt and bitter and resinous, citrus hops with notes of grapefruit, orange rind and just a hint of pineapple and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some more pine coming through in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Ironically called "East Coast", this tastes more like a typical West Coast IPA to me, although I won't even pretend to know what the difference is supposed to be these days. Malty, bitter and resinous, with strong citrus and light tropical notes.

Smell is juicy and fruity with notes of apricots, peaches and a hint of grass and sweetness.
Taste is surprisingly light and bright. Slightly chalky with notes of citrus, peaches and a mild, mellow bitterness. Dry, fruity finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice IPA, lighter and more mellow than expected.
