Deep brown pour with a minimal tan head--bubbles, really. Inspired by chai lattes, this is a spiced beer, delivering a bit of pepper heat, ginger, cinnamon and sweet allspice. Add lactose to the mix and you're left with a silky smooth, evolving flavor that starts with chocolate, leans sweet and then ends with spice. I've never ordered a chai latte in any coffee shop, but this beer I want again.
