12 oz brown bottle, capped, BBE date on label.

This smoked ale poured a clear, coppery, reddish brown with creamy, tan foam that settled. If the sediment was poured, the beer had a slight haziness. The smell was lightly malty with a touch of caramel and a hint of smoke. The taste was nicely smokey malt up-front with a touch of caramel and low sweetness. There was low hoppiness overall, and a slight tanginess in the finish. The mouthfeel was smooth and dry with medium body and low carbonation. The finish was lightly tangy with a very light maltiness that lingered. This was a nice beer, lightly smokey and not complex, but enjoyable. Thanks to Naerhu for this bottle.
