Notes:
This New-England style IPA pours hazy gold due to the 3+ pounds of Mosaic & Mandarina Bavaria hops added per barrel. This creates an intense pineapple/orange aroma and an addictively juicy hop flavor. Finishes soft with a trademarked "yum" profile.

From a tall boy into a spieglau ipa glass, pours a fairly hazy lemony apricot, with a wispy foamy 1 finger head that subsides quickly and leaves little lacing. Nose is some light clean bready malt, light flowery orange blossom, sweet grapefruit, and a little ripe guava. Kind of hits all at once, and better as it warms a bit. Taste follows, but not quite as delicate. Juicy grapefruit but a little thin, quite wet, and a little flat, though the notes do kind of all come together. A few things here and there that are only ok, but they don’t distract me much from the many things to enjoy here. Worth a go.

Acquired via trade. Thanks Colin.
Pours a murky orange. Look of dishwater with a glass of OJ poured in. very little head and little lacing.
Aroma is pungent dankness upfront with citrus overtones. get a little pineapple late as well.
Flavor follows the mouthfeel. Very solid IPA. Little bite upfront that quickly fades mid pallet
Mouthfeel appropriate for style
Overall- my first ever beer from North Dakota was a success, Enjoyed it and if I ever found myself in Fargo, I would def seek this beer out.

Looks enticingly yellow-tan and murky.
Nice head, but disappeared fast and left little lacing .
Smells of strong citra: bittersweet grapefruit and mango-guava.
Tastes same, although the fruit proves to be short-lived and surprisingly sour. Which you may very well love. Better than sweet, sez I. More bitter than oily, which explains the lack of lacing and length.
Feel is really fuller than flavor. The carbonation rolls around your mouth much longer than the actual taste, and the front of your tongue tingles for a long time. Oilier/heavier would be nice. Actually, just noticing this is only 5.5% abv, so I'm raising all my 4.25 ratings to 4.5. That changes everything.
Overall a great example of what I consider New England IPA. My apologies to those who dislike that distinction. I'd love another layer of flavor and hops in this beer, from some yeast, a touch of sweet grain, and another hop. But at 5.5%, I tip my hat to Drekker.

On tap at Brew... golden, hazy, with one finger of head. Good amount of lacing. Smell is of pineapple, mandarin oranges, some malt coming through. Tastes like it smells. Surprisingly smooth and not as bitter as the amount of hops would make you think. Mouthfeel is medium, could use a little more carbonation. Overall, a decent beer. Would be good on a hot summer day.

16oz can, snifter glass. Cloudy lighter lemon yellow body, one finger white head, good retention. Medium collar. Bits of lacing. Smell is resin, a bit herbal, a bit of caramel, mild floral. Fairly staright forward nose. Has a bit of a mild herbal and spicy resin on the palate, fairly straight forward but a nice hop aromatic all the way, although a bit muted overall. Medium bodied, good carbonation. A slight wateriness on the finish, leaving you looking for a little bit more.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on July 22, 2019. Hopped with over three pounds of Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria per barrel. Pineapple and orange aromas. Juicy hop flavors. Finishes soft.

Pours a hazy milky gold with a trace of foam that recedes quickly.
Smells of mango, orange pith, unripe papaya.
Tastes of lightly sweet mandarin oranges & mangos up front with a pithy almost marmalade-like bitterness washing away the citrus candy notes as it’s fading into a lingering super hazy and classically soft NE IPA finish. This has that citrus bitter/sweet/soft mouthfeel that’s spot on. Excellent. Delicious.
