For Gorp Be With You, we collaborated with Lua Brewing and Ansari's Mediterranean Grill and we were out to recreate the flavor of Trail Mix - you know, the good kind with good ol’ raisins & peanuts and plenty of M&Ms. So we loaded this one up with plum, cranberry, raspberry, granola, peanut butter, lactose, sea salt, and of course, chocolate. The result is a thick and fruity sour with another one of those flavors that probably shouldn’t taste as good or as much like the real thing as it does, but it does.

Drekker Gorp Be With You Trail Mix Sour, 6.5% ABV. Yes, they did. Nothing like trail mix though. Pours thick and opaque red with a one-finger dark-pink head that left puree residue. Aroma is 100% peanut-butter-cup, with strong chocolate and peanut butter. Taste is tart cranberry and raspberry throwing shade on the other ingredients, slightly sweet, moderately tart, with the plum doing its job to take the sour edge off a bit, and add raisin taste. Excellent smooth and creamy mouthfeel, overall excellent mostly owing to the aroma.

Looks like another fruit berry smoothie beer and smells like one too. The chocolate and peanuts come through on the nose too. All of these flavors make a good appearance on the taste as well. It is a good mixture of flavors that do not overwhelm one another. It keeps me coming back for more sips and continued exploration.

On Tap Pours a light cherry color that was thin for a smoothie sour. Smell and taste was fruity with granola and vanilla not getting a lot of peanuts or trail mix.. Mouth feel was thin for a smoothie,Love Drekker sours/smoothie this one was a miss.

Can. Pink head. Raspberry chunky color. Smoothie beer.
Peanut butter and jam. Tastes like PBJ Chonk. Chocolate. Peanuts. Fruit blend. Very think. Another fun ‘beer’ from drekker. Very thick. Half a glass is enough.
