Tons of outside space here, all set up for live music. Taproom and brewery are repurposed industrial space, benches and tables. App ordering and payment through QR code. Limited taps.

New, corrugated metal and wood sided building. Good, modern interior of dark polished concrete, lacquered wood tables. With each tasting flight beer, comes a baseball type card, which has all the information about that particular beer. They have a food truck from a BBQ institution in town - Ray Ray's Hog Pit, parked out in front. The beer is decidedly mediocre, just find a type to wash down the BBQ, perhaps a pilsner or Oktoberfest.

I really enjoyed my visit here. They have a large beer selection and the bartenders will go out of their way to help you. When I was there, Ray-Rays BBQ had there food truck parked ther. The food is OUTSTANDING!

Decent sized tap-room/bar with a food truck typically present. Inside was very clean and bright. Table set-up is long shared tables, beer hall style. A side room can be reserved for private events; a group was doing a fantasy draft there during my visit. Should be noted that the bathroom is in this side room, so it isn't especially private. The whole place has a sports-friendly vibe down to some of the beer names and labels.
Beers were overall above average. I tried several and nothing really blew me away, but they were all good. Mostly standard fare for American brewers these days, IPAs, brown ales, etc. The seasonal was their marzen.
Staff was very friendly and accessible. It wasn't super crowded, but enough people were there that I still noticed them going above and beyond to be attentive to everyone.
The selection is pretty great, usually 10 or so of their beers on tap at a time with rotations and an equal number of guest taps with a dedicated "sour" tap (which may or may not actually be a sour beer depending on your definition) and a cider or two. In addition to this, there are also a number of bottles and cans of both their beer and others readily available. They serve wine as well, so something for everyone. I didn't notice if there was liquor.
Pretty great little place, worth stopping by if you're in town. It's in a slightly less busy are of the city compared to some of the other downtown breweries, so is fairly easy to park at.
Staff was very friendly.

Visited when home over the holidays. Had heard of this place for a while and was excited to check it out. Awesome taproom and brew house. Smart logo and good marketing scheme. The beer itself was subpar. I rarely leave beer behind but couldn't bring myself to finish several tasters in my flight. Found the beers to be overdone..each was like a caricature of the styles they were attempting to create. IPA's, even the black ipa, was overly bitter (and I'm a hophead). Worth a visit, but the beer lacks balance.

Good place but not great. It seems like the kinda place I would love. Everything is just okay. The beer in particular is pretty average. I’m sure it’s a top quality place to watch OSU games but not great for an out of towner.

3 blocks from my house ....both good and bad for me ;). Land Grant's overall look and vibe fit perfectly within the context of the Franklinton revitalization. In the room between the brewery and the tap room sits a long wood table with a wall paying tribute to all of Land Grant's kick starter donors, while a TV on the opposite wall plays a time lapse video that details the incredible transformation of the space from urban eyesore to a stunning yet rustic brewery. The main space is an ideal space to take in a game and throwback a few pints with friends. My wife and I spent New Years at Land Grant, it was a terrific time that was not without hiccups, but the staff handled each misstep with swift action. I simply love this place and am happy it is here to play its leading role in Franklinton's rebirth.

This is a great looking spot. Many kudos to whoever designed the whole place and also to whoever handled the branding. Really unique and nice theme they have going on. Quality of beers is good. They also have a few worthy visiting beers in bottles and taps.
Service seemed a bit unimpressed with customers and very slow. Many of us waited a long time to get helped, and even though it was fairly busy, it wasn't out of control busy or anything. I asked for one growler of a beer and the guy seemed as if he was not entirely pleased to have to do it. And the growler wasn't even properly filled, after spending about 10 minutes in this process. Sheesh.
This place should do a very nice business. At least, I can only assume they will. If I had more time to commit to Columbus, I am sure I would have stayed longer. Though after the whole service thing, if it's like that again on my return visit, I will just move on to another place.

These guys got off to a nice start and all the offerings are solid so far, especially the Kolsch. Cool space in a hip, upward trending area. Looking forward to see what else they come up with and how their first batches settle out.

Brand new (opened 10/18/14) brew pub on the west side of downtown Columbus. Clean, modern, and well decorated. At the time of my visit, Land Grant had four beers on tap, the rest of the 18 taps had guest brews, all Ohio breweries, and all "harder to find" according to one of the co-owners. (Some of the 18 numbered taps on the wall might not have been hooked up. Seems to me they had about a dozen beers.) Had a friendly chat with said co-owner, and enjoyed the grub from the food truck outside. On a night with Ohio State football playing a B1G rival, it was relatively crowded, but not too bad.
Plenty of bar seating, and four or so long communal tables to sit at. A window affords a view to the brewing area, and the restrooms were clean.
My wife and I had planned on stopping for a beer and then jetting for some food, but we ended up staying for several hours, enjoying both Land Grant's and guest beers, and the burritos from the food truck outside.
